The Best Obama Music Videos on the Web

In case you're still on a high following the Presidential Inauguration, or just can't get enough of Obama Fever, you might want to check out the following tunes and music videos floating around the Internet about Barack Obama and the new look of our country. I downloaded a few of these on my iPod the day after the Inauguration, just to remain inspired for a few more days while I walked or vacuumed the living room. I'm a sucker for a good President -- what can I say?

1. "American Prayer" by Dave Stewart

This is actually in music video form on YouTube. A nice tune from Stewart, with cameos from a bunch of stars, including Forrest Whitaker, Whoopie Goldberg and Joan Baez.

2. "America's Song" Inauguration Song

This song is a compilation put together by songmaster David Foster, with performances by Faith Hill, Will.i.am, Bono, Seal, Mary J. Blige, and a bunch of little kids. It will fill your heart with patriotism, and you'll blush.

3. The Barack Obama Song

This one is a hilarious homemade music video that's about 50 seconds long and includes Obama with laser vision, and as a superhero. Very funny stuff. YouTube folks are so talented!

4. "Yes We Can"

This Emmy Winning collage-style music video, made by Will.i.am, is inspired by a speech delivered by Obama after the 2008 New Hampshire primary. The song was released in February 2008 by on YouTube and won the Emmy for Outstanding New Approaches-Entertainment in June.

5. "It's Our Time Now"

This is a very cool music video featuring the singer and guitarist Nicole Waters and some great video of real people showing their support for Obama around the country. Lots of fun to watch.

6. "There's No One as Irish as Barack Obama"

Ah -- the Corrigan Brothers. Even though they pronounce Barack like barrack, their tune is really fun. "O'Leary, O'Reilly, O'Hare and O'Hara, there's no one as irish as Barack Obama." Gotta love it.

7. Cocoa Tea's Barack Obama Song

If you like reggae, you'll like this tune and the four-minute music video that goes with it. It's catchy and fun.

8. "I Got a Crush on Obama"

No Obama music video list would be complete without Obama Girl's contribution, which actually is not that bad. And she certainly found her 15 minutes of fame, thanks to a little imagination and a lot of YouTube. This video has received more than 13 million hits. Maybe it's a bit more than 15 minutes of fame.

This is a fun hub. It is great to see such joy and happiness around the whole world. He has a lot to live up to but I believe he will come through, because he has so much supporrt to go along with his own great qualities.
