How much can one give in the desire to help others, especially the needy?

Not a few are really willing to give something for the sake of his fellow men. In fact, others are even willing to give their lives for those that really matters. There are so many ways to share money and possessions, time, talent, gifts or expertise with someone. Yet there is one kind of sharing that is in its most profound and noblest manner that one can do.

This sharing involves the soul of men. Sharing the good news of salvation for men to achieve the true and eternal life on our Lord Jesus Christ's return.

When the Lord Jesus Christ lived on this world, He showed His compassion in His many miracles which He did for the needy.

Members of the true Church of Christ, today also received God's compassion as written in Romans 5:8-9, NKJV: "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him."

Christ died for us while we were still sinners. But His death benefited His Church only; and "Christ is himself the Savior of the church, his body" ( Eph. 5:25, 23, today's English Version). And so, we were justified through the blood of Christ when God called us to become parts of Christ's body or members of the Church of Christ-the Church which He redeemed with His blood:

"Take heed therefore to yourselves and to all the flock over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you overseers, to feed the church of Christ which he has purchased with his blood." (Acts 20:28, Lamsa Translation)

Those who have been delivered by God from condemnation to salvation should also share this gift of salvation to others, proclaiming the good news to all especially to their loved ones who belong to other religions.

Trying to win people over to the true Church of Christ is the best and noblest thing that a brethren can do. This is actually pulling souls out of the fire:

     "But others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh." (Jude 1:23 NKJV)
