The Best Pussy Tattoos
86I love pussy...cats. I always have and always will. When I was a very young child I wanted to grow up to be a mountain lion. My fascination with cats has never ended. They are aloof, but friendly...calm, but crazy...and quiet, yes, definitely, usually quiet (except when they are crazy, of course).
The big cats are even more fascinating. Beautiful and deadly, they rule their worlds. Lions, tigers, leopards are sleek, agile and commanding. You could never pass one in the wild without looking at it with at least a little unease. Unpredictability is one of a cat's greatest traits. You can never be sure if they are sleeping, or just playing and planning some sort of sabotage.
My current tattoo is a tiger. I would like to get another tattoo, but I have not yet found it. I don't know what it will look like, but I am sure I will recognize it when I see it. After all it only took me 15 years to recognize my first one.
I have found some fabulous tattoos searching for the one I need. I search most often through the big cats and thought I would share some of the best with you all.
Cat Tattoos
Pussy cat tattoos are very nice, but not really my style. I like something a little more wild to wear. Lions and tigers are much more to my liking.
Lion Tattoos
I am pretty partial to tigers. Not just because I was born during the year of the tiger in the Chinese zodiac. Tigers are my favorite big cat after mountain lions.
Tiger Tattoos
Leopard Tattoos
I've never had a great deal of luck finding good leopard tattoos. However, I find plenty of pictures of people with tattooed leopard spots. I do not really understand the attraction to this... but in some cases it does look interesting...

Here are a few tattoos of cats that I though were just plain fun. I hope you enjoy them.
Fun Cat Tattoos
I got my first tattoo before tattoos were considered "cool". Most people thought only biker chicks or "women of the night" got tattoos in those days. I was neither...just a nurse with a love of tattoos. A love that continues today.
Although tattoos are not for everyone, it seems they are for more and more people lately. Body art has become a form of personal expression and adornment. Gone are the days that tattoos were only for sailors, bikers or hustlers. Personally, I am glad to see tattoos gain some social acceptance.

LOL K@ri, yet another spin to the old trick! Love it LOL.
Although I probably won't ever get a tattoo myself, I enjoy seeing them on others if the art is superb, just as you have showcased here, K@ri. Thanks so much for sharing this one.
Kari: I knew you were up to something with the title, LOL. I know I will never get a tattoo, but can admire good art. I wrote a hub a few months ago where I showcased my friend Inky' work who is a tattoo artist in Idaho and its has the highest slideshow views, which means there is a lot interest in tattoo art.
Beautiful art, will send the link to this hub to Inky as I know she will be inspired!
Well, Hello Kitty! I haven't seen Felix-the-Cat in years. How fun. I'm a coward when it comes to pain and needles... so.... no tattoos for yo, but I do admire them on others.
Great hub title and some fabulous tattoos here. For me though these images would be better on a T Shirt but to each his or her own :)
Love the title! I got a lot of flack for a post I once wrote called "Getting my daughter high at the beach". (Although it had a huge readership ;-)
Congrats BTW!!! I sent an e-mail to GM this morning :)
yeah agree nice title!
Jaspal, Thanks! And they do love us...in their own strange, perverted way. :D
Thanks Misha! LOL, yes it's an old trick, but one that works.
dohn, I'm glad you liked them. For myself, I'm still hunting for my next.
Violet, I hope she likes them! I went and read the hub. She is an excellent artist and her tattoos are very beautiful! Here is the link if anyone wants to see, they are wonderful!

Linda, That Hello Kitty tat is sooo cute, I just had to include it.
ethel, I agree they would also make wonderful t-shirts...but tattoos last so much longer. :D
shamel, People always talk about how painful tattoos are to get, but I think it depends on the area. I don't recall mine being very painful...but I do have a high pain tolerance. To each their own. :D
GM told me of your lovely e-mail. Thanks! :D
Joel, LOL, I was a little hesitant to use this title, but I thought the joke would be good.
madeira, Glad you like it! :D
Kari: She loved them, and said she was coming back to this hub to check them out again. I added her shop's address in my hub. Will add a link to this hub in my mine, as its so cute!
Violet, I'm glad she liked them. Thanks for linking me! :D
I like the way your brain thinks, makes me feel alive listening to what your thinking, very cool...Keep it up ...PS Now I Know Why I bookmarked your page ;-) ...Hope you are doing well,
Great title! I'm sure you had no intentions of attracting a crowd with the possible double meaning! I mean why would anyone think anything other than what you blogged about! If Dianna (my sweetie pie) had any of those cats on her body--it's bad enough sleeping with the cat and two dogs--not that we do sleep with the lights on ever, but this would make it that way for sure. I could see myself waking up screaming, well, until I suppose I got used to it. Have to say, though, the tats are beautiful. Thanks for the interesting and informative hub.
I'm curious how these will look when the women are in their 80s...
You naughty! Hey, y'all look so cute in that picture!
I never made a tattoo in my life, but I feel after watching those snaps it is not so bad to try one. But, I would not make of cat, I would try some good designing.
I love all of them tattoos, especially the cute little hello kitty! But I'll never get a tattoo. Me and needles just don't bond. :3
Anath, While I found the spots interesting, I don't see me getting them anytime in the future. I loved the lines in that 3rd cat myself! :D
Thanks Lee! Good to see ya and I hope you are well also.
vrbmft, LOL, sounds like one more cat would even things out. Wouldn't you want a tiger in bed with you? ;)
teendad, They will probably fade a bit...otherwise it depends on placement...In my opinion, it's best to get them in places you can show when you want and cover otherwise.
Hi Christoph! You caught me, LOL! I'm glad you like the pic! Thanks. :D
abentley, Cats are not for everyone. If you design some tattoos you should share them in a hub with us. I'd love to see them!
Hey May! The Hello Kitty is very, very cute! I guess you'll just have to stick to the temporary tats. Although, if you got one on your back you'd never have to see how they were doing it (LOL). :D
I feel like I have a dirty mind after reading the tittle. Great hub!!
The little Hello Kitty tattoo looked cute. I also like the 'catwings' because it is very colorful
I love the artwork even though I wouldn't get a tat myself because I'm too afraid of needles.LOL I admit you've got me with that eye catching title. Great hub!
Just can't handle a tatoo - I guess there are two groups of people with tatoos and without. They are so permanent - you can't change your mind.
Louidam1, Not dirty...just inquiring, LOL :D
rosette, I also love the catwings tattoo...and the Hello Kitty!
ISIS430, Glad you liked it, and glad to hear the title's working :D
healthgoji, They are permanent...LOL, that's why it takes me so long to make up my mind I guess.
i love your work keep it up!
Thanks skypilot! I will try. :D
Great pictures. Although I don't like tattoos.
My favorite tattoo's are the third cat, with the sleek lines and it looks mischevious. My other favorite tattoo is the first lion tattoo. Heck I may even consider getting this one done. Nice title by the way.
Well, aren't we clever! Thanks for the fun Hub.
masmasika, The artwork is fabulous, whether or not you like tattoos. Thanks!
emievil, I love the big cats also! I also want another tattoo, and hope to get it before too long. :D
wesleycox, I like the third cat, but that first lion is the way to go in my book! Send a picture if you get one! I'd love to see it.
James, Hahaha...made you look! But seriously, glad you liked it. :D
Health Tip, LOL! Colorful pussies are lovely, aren't they. :D
I wonder if the author's ever assisted in the ER over one of those Western canyon bicyclists attacked by a cougar, who'd had her head clamped in its jaws for an interminable time before rescue came from another bicyclist. Interestingly enough, the particular cougar in question (dispatched -dead as a door nail - soon after by DNR agents) attacked not out of hunger, as it had recently left another bicyclist dead from bite wounds on the very same canyon path (SEE Animal Planet). These creatures: stealthy, deadly, worthy of a round to the noggin as what our Second Amendment was written for. Some people just buy a dog.
-Abe Normal
Ars longa, vita brevis
Abe Normal, Stealthy and deadly...and yes, when preying on humans worthy of a round. Big cats are not something one would want to act too casually around. They are dangerous animals...very beautiful, very dangerous animals. BTW: Did you mean buy a dog as opposed to a gun? Or as opposed to a cat?
Those are some crazy, cool tattoos!
My cartoonist gave me a tatoo, but I think she doesn't like to draw it because she always draws me fully clothed. These are spectacular, K@ri!
I saw the title and I about fell over! I about died laughing. Thank you so much for this Hub! I enjoyed reading about Pussies, really.
Very nice pictures, I have a tat of a cat on my hip.
nice hub i like it. Tattoos are all time my favorite and the pics of cat on tattoos are lovely. I enjoyed a lot.
Great hub. I have written a couple of things on tattoos here and elsewhere and an working on a new one now. Great title.
doin a good job
Wow! it's interesting to see. good work
T.A. Northburg, Thanks, I'm glad you think so!
Jess, You'll have to talk to your cartoonist...I'd love to see your tattoo!
The Sablirab, LOL, I'm glad you got a good laugh!
marcofratelli, Allergic to pussies?! How dreadful! :)
mistywild, Glad you liked them! Does your cat look like any of the ones shown?
Vizey, I love tats myself! Thanks!
scarlett black, I loved your hub on tattoos! Thanks!
Thanks rizrulaan!
rajagiriworld, I'm glad you like them!
Hi Kari -- You've showed the beautiful art that is tattooing. So many different interpretations on the theme of cat.
I myself don't need a tattoo as I am covered head to toe with cat already. Cat fur!
Good hub and clever title. You are a naughty nurse indeed!
Great pictures and great topic. It reminded me that the leopard in the jungle themed tattoo on my leg still needs his spots, too funny! Thanks for sharing!
Mighty Mom, You caught me! LOL, I was in a naughty mood when I thought up this title. I'm glad you enjoyed the art! :D
Clark, So...your leopard is currently a panther? LOL I vaguely remember a story by Kipland about how the leopard got his spots...maybe that would help.
This is looking very beautiful and cute tatoo. I simply adore tattoos but I am afraid of the pain it involved.. nice hub..

Great hub - who doesn't love pussies? :p
It's a different matter that the cats don't quite seem to reciprocate in like manner!
I must pass on the link to my son who runs a tattoo center cum cafe ... there are some excellent pics and ideas for tattoos here.
