Resurrection to new life!

Palm Sunday starts Holy Week and the beginning of Easter.  Around the world millions of people will pause to commemorate the spiritual holiday.  Many focus on the crucifixion.  However, it is the resurrection of Jesus, the Christ, that makes Easter possible.  Just as it was with Lazarus when he was raised by Christ from the dead, it is the restoration back to life that defines what Easter is about.

The true effects of the events of Easter are felt when each person seeks Christ for guidance and empowerment, lets dead things go in their own lives and commits to truly "living".  This might involve letting go of bad habits, negative thoughts and fear.

And actually it has been said that there are only two sources of energy in the universe:  love and fear.  Perhaps it is the letting go of fear and the "lifelessness" that fear brings including the feeling of being trapped or not completely free and a sense of smallness or inadequacy - and - turning to love that is key to truly living.

Would that new life happened with the snap of a finger, but it appears to be a lifelong process.  It is the work that was done on Easter that opened the door for humankind to reconcile to our Source which leads to freedom from fear, knowing we are always loved and living the life we were created to live.

Happy Easter!
