The Calorie Shifting diet is an 11 day diet plan that shifts the types of calories you eat each day to basically confuse your metabolism. The diet allows you to eat 4 times per day every 2 1/2 hours. This is great because you never feel hungry and each time you eat your meal, you can eat as much as you want up to the point where you are starting to feel full. You end up eating less calories per sitting thereby keeping your body burning body fat instead of storing it.
This diet works because the diet generator explained below automatically creates a meal plan for you that shifts carbohydrate calories and protein calories from one day to the next. If you were to go on a low fat diet, your metabolism would end up slowing down to conserve the body fat you have because it thinks you're starving yourself. The shifting of the calories works because your body never knows what it's going to get and continues to burn body fat.
The Calorie Shifting diet also has an online diet generator. This is basically your meal plans for each day of the 11 day diet. You get to choose from up to 30 different foods to eat each day. The diet generator automatically puts the foods you select into your 4 meals per day. The best part about this is that you don't have to eat your 4 meals in the exact order. You can eat meal 4 first, then 2, 1 and 3. Doesn't matter.

Most people think this diet only lasts 11 days. Well, true. But it is designed for you to use it multiple times. To keep confusing your metabolism and burn even more calories, you are supposed to use the plan for 11 days, then take 3 days off where you could eat absolutely anything you want! Anything.
Then you would start up the plan all over again. People who have used this diet have lost 6 or 7 pounds the first go and then another 7 or 8 pounds the second time around. So, in under 1 month, you have the potential of losing anywhere from 15 to 18 pounds.
Not bad considering you can eat as much as you want on this diet.
