The Champions | Classic 1960's Television

The Champions is a UK Sci Fi television series from the late 1960's. Overall 30 episodes were produced which were shown on ITV in the UK and on NBC in the US. More recently the episodes are being repeated on ITV4 in Britain.

The storyline revolves around three agents Craig Stirling (Stuart Damon), Sharon Macready (Alexandra Bastedo) and Richard Barrett (William Gaunt) from Nemisis. Nemisis is a United Nations Law Enforcement Agency which was based in Geneva.

The three agents acquired special superhuman abilities after a plane crash in the Himalayas. They were rescued by an advanced civilization who gave them the powers which included ESP, Precognition and special physical abilities.
