Lately my inbox has been stuffed full of emails from marketer's trying to sell me the new latest-and-greatest-make-money-online-eBook-must-have called The Clickbank Code by Michael Jones. Yes I'm on far too many guru lists, I really should get off some of them, but anyway .. you may not know, but Michael Jones is also the author of The Adwords Code, The eBay Code, and Torrential Traffic Tactics.

So I thought it was at least worth my time to see what the fuss was all about.

When I first got to the sales page, the graphics and sales page seem very professionally done and it follows the same standard layout that you are used to seeing with Clickbank sales pages these days, the big headline to draw in the reader, the screenshots of his earnings. All pretty standard stuff.

I did particularly like that we actually see Michael log into his Clickbank account to prove that the earnings are real. So yes, he seems to know what he is talking about (although in reality we don't know how much of this is actual profit since we don't know how much (if any) he has spent with Adwords).

Then of course we get the customer testimonials, the bonuses and the big price fake-out (yes I was going to charge $1 million dollars for this, but buy today and you'll get it for only $77).

(I rarely read the whole sales page these days, and most of the time just read the headline and scroll to the bottom to find out the price).

Now a price tag of $77 isn't all that cheap, especially for newbie's wanting to making money online so he better be offering something pretty good here to justify the price.

(Also be prepared for a OTO as well when you buy)

So what do you get for your money?

Well fortunately The Clickbank Code it isn't just some ebook, it's actually a video course (28 videos in fact) that will teach you how to promote products on Clickbank and earn affiliate commissions. He shows you how to set your websites up (and gives you some website templates to get you started), what to write on your pages and how to get traffic to them.

Each of the videos are broken into 6 main modules that go over different lessons.

The six modules are:

1. Make a KILLING as an Affiliate - This shows you the basics of online marketing and choosing good Clickbank products to promote.

2. Powerful Keyword Research - Obviously about proper keyword research

3. It's All About The Offer - How to set up your offers so customers will be jumping to purchase, the RIGHT way to pre-sell and a particularly good video on avoiding any Google penalties (for those running Adwords campaigns).

4. The Clickbank Code Ways of Generating Buyers on Demand - How to find out which keywords are converting for you and how to laser fine tune your campaigns.

5. Article What? - For those not using Adwords, this shows you all the free methods for getting traffic to your pages especially via article marketing.

6. Killer FREE + Paid Traffic Tactics, The Ultimate Clickbank Code in Action - Some really good videos on SEO in this section, as well as combining all the traffic tactics learnt so far (some really advanced strategies in this module).

I particularly like the step by step system that even an absolute beginner can follow and the 'this is how you do it' approach of his teaching.

Now I'm not a newbie when it comes to making money online, and I also promote Clickbank products quite a lot (although I mainly promote Amazon products - but that's another story entirely). However I'm nowhere near earning the same money that Michael Jones is. I picked up quite a lot of good ideas on how to set your pages up and how to really get into the potential customers head so you can make more sales.
