See the pile of cash next to this post.  So many of the so called gurus want you to believe that making money online is so easy that you could be making piles of cash like that on a weekly or even daily basis.  Im sure most of you have heard it all just like we have.

Of course there are a million more and we hear them everyday.  Unfortunately marketer to marketer many of us have fallen for these at one time or another.  Many of us spent our hard earned money just to buy some fluffed up ebook that really tells us nothing except to spend more money.  its time to face the facts.  If you want to be making money online it is very possible but you really need to understand that there is nothing get rich quick about it.

Many years ago my hubbie decided he was going to get rich making money online.  Im sure most of you know how that worked out.  Endless opportunity after opportunity and we never saw a penny come in, but saw a lot of dollars go out.

I totally believed in him but the time did come where I had to tell him it was time to give up and walk away.  I hated being the one to shatter his dreams but the obsession to earn money online was costing us a lot and he needed to see that. 

He did see it without an arguement and just like that his dream of making money online was over and not to be revisited for a few more years.  So now lets back track about 3 years from today.  He decided it was time to give it another try and once again I was there to support him.  Wouldnt you know it he started making money.  Not a lot but it was more than he was spending.

He was in a MLM program which I wont mention but for a while things were going quite well and he even made as much as a thousand dollars one month.  The thing about this is he should have ben having fun making money online but it turned out he was more stressed than anything else.  He was tired of begging people to join the program, the program started changing all the rules and finally he just walked away.  he said if he couldnt have fun he wasnt interested in making money online.

He knew there had to be a better ways at making money online.  There had to be ways where you werent begging and decieving people.  Because if there wasnt then he was again going to quit.  he started hanging out at some forums and learning about stuff like affiliate marketing, clickbank, adsense, eBay and so forth.

He saw the potential in this but he wanted to be different.  Firstly he didnt just want to build a list and blast useless garbage to people on a daily basis.  Secondly he wasnt interested in losing his shirt using things like PPC.  He wanted to be a different marketer.  he wanted to be one of the good guys.  In one of these making money online forums he met his current affiliate partner.  Of course at first he didnt know that the two of them would be partners but ultimately thats what happened.  This is how the Affiliate Nuts were born.  the two of them had the exact same vision.  they wanted the exact same things.  They were a team made in marketing heaven.

My hubbie and his partner never want to be known as gurus.  They always want to remember the hard work that is involved in what they do.  Just this week there was a huge launch by a very big marketer.  I wont name the product but many of you will know what I am talking about.  The product was such a huge success that it knocked 15 servers off line when it was released.  At $1000 for the product there is no doubt that the creator became a millionaire virtually over night.  Where Hubbie and his partner have the problem here is that they know 95% of the people who spent the thousand dollars will never make their money back.

Its this kind of stuff that bothers them about making money online.  In no way are they saying the product that was released isnt good.  Its the hype that gets them.  The gurus once again have people believing if they buy this product you will be making money online like crazy.  it simply isnt true.  that just doesnt happen anymore.  Making money online is all about patience, hard work and determination.

The Affiliate Nuts are definately making money online.  However they are doing it a lot differently.  They are not falling for the crap anymore.  Instead they follow a little motto.  "Mind the pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves."  To them this means that one day at a time things are getting a little better.

Will I tell you how much they make per month.  Well lets say it varies but consistantly it is between 5 and 10 thousand dollars that they share.  There expenses are about $100 dollars and their effort is about 300%

They take great pride in only promoting products they enjoy using themselves.  Their income is a mixture of affiliate marketing with many different affiliate companies, adsense, eBay and a few other small things.

They own a few websites of which one they are really proud of.  In less than a year with all free marketing they get about 40 000 unique visitors a month to the site.  Do you think this site makes money?  Of course it does but it takes a lot of hard work to keep the traffic coming to it.

Will the Affiliate Nuts ever go full time?  Well they put in endless hours now but will it be there full time job.  Maybe, maybe not.  time will surely tell quite a story.  Day by day they are showing people you dont have to be a guru to be making money online and you dont have to be spending a lot of money either.

The Affiliate Nuts will continue making money online.  They will continue to hold their heads high and know they are making money online differently from many people.  The keys they stick to are working well together, working hard, being patient, being consistant and never giving up.

The Nuts have bad days just like anyone else.  The neat thing about that is almost always the next day turns out to be a good day.  Making money online definately isnt for everyone.  You have to be willing to put in the time and effort needed to succeed.  You need to be able to treat it as a real job.  Its something that one way or another needs at least some sort of attention 7 days a week.

Only you know if you really have what it takes to learn what making money online is all about.  Its ok to have dreams and in all honesty a lot of dreams are realized from making money online.  Just know its not something that will happen by next weekend.
