I Feel Pretty Oh So Dior Pretty....

So there I was again shopping for things to add to my "Must Have" folder I keep stocked on my desk top when I came across the most beautiful Dior Sunglasses called "Grand Salon". True to the trend of the bug eyes over the last couple years, these beauties have swarovski crystals, rhinestones, and metal frames available in three colors; black, biege, and white/clear - they are gorgous. But as all beautiful things they come with a hefty price tag that unless you are making a six figure salary or live with your parents and have no bills can seriously dent your pocket book.

So here lies the moral delimma, do you not buy your mom that awesome present for mothers day and starve yourself for a month so you can have an awesome pair of shades (and if you're like me lose them in another month to the mouth of a beagle), I say YES!!! This is going to sound completely irresponsible but you know what, why work your a** off everyday for someone else and get yourself nothing out of it except a ant size paycheck that barely covers your bills. Maybe it's not right to think this way all the but, once in a while it's okay to put yourself first. It makes you feel special, indulgent, extravegent and in school I learned that buying something out of your "price range", can lift a mood, make you feel more self confident and accomplished (honest to god they did a study on it).

So how much do these babies cost? Though my lenghty research I have seen them anywhere between 365.00 - 675.00. Um yeah Holly S**t is just what I said too, I mean they are sunglasses not a hand bag or something that is less likely to get damaged - but remember they are beautiful.

So what is a shopping finatic to do for the must have sunglasses, ask your boyfriend?? - well I might ask yours if you don't because there is no way my boyfriend would. He's is only forking out that kind of money for an engine part for his own personal love interest toys that fill up the garage. Socheers to saving up for those expensive comodoties we "need" so much" - I'm sure you'll come up with a perfectly good explination to your mom why she got an old blender from the thift store wrapped in last years newspaper - besides she's had like a million other birthdays and mothers days anyways (Mom if you read this I love you and that "was" an awesome blender).

Buyer beware: Now as I alwasy say make sure you buy from a reputable place as knock off sunglasses are just as popular as knock off purses. Also beware of buyers remorse; this is that feeling you get when you buy something extravegent and then regret it horribly when you think about it later and the shopping "high" has disapperead. Make sure if you are one of these people that you purchase from someone who accepts returns for a REFUND and not a credit. - - - - - - Happy Shopping - - - - - - - - - -
