Fear

Crazy Lunatics!

The average person’s opinions or fears, are based on something they feel very strongly about. Some are fact and some are unfounded. Conspiracy theories, like fear and unlike facts, are usually seldom supported by any real evidence, and therefore ridiculed or put in a pile along with gossip, speculation, lies and folklore.

But what if, little by little each fact that is uncovered leads to a plan, by malicious individuals or groups, who are working to distort the current status of what we know to be true?

This is crazy, or paranoid behavior, only a lunatic would believe that! Oh really?

To conspire means "to join in a secret agreement to do an unlawful or wrongful act or to use such means to accomplish a lawful end."

Among the more familiar conspiracy theories are: The assassination of JFK, UFO’s, New World Order, the Vatican Secret Archives, Bermuda Triangle, 911, and the list goes on.

Many great leaders often felt that there were some who were conspiring against them, but could not prove it.

Fact or Fiction?

The internet is supposed to be the new information technology which gives us information at the click of a mouse. Yet, some information is so well misplaced that it takes real knowledge and an IT degree to find it. Indulge me for a minute to point out that there are many small things happening that defy understanding. Here is a short list of some strange things, and you can determine for yourself if they are fact or some crazy conspiracy theory.

First, and foremost, the mysterious election of Obama, with less than 150 days in the Senate, no qualifications or credentials available.

The real purpose and actual duties of the 45 czars, the newest being the diversity czar Lloyd, nominated and not accountable to anyone but the president, .

The content of the new Universal Health Insurance Plan, and the mysterious e-mails from Axelrod.

The stimulus package, cash for clunkers, cap & trade, 2010 driver’s license reform, global warming, and the pork included in every bill.

How much concrete information is there about the above list that is easily attainable? Therefore, are we to assume these things are a conspiracy made up by those crazy people, and are you beginning to fear the unknown yet?

Personally…

I am not one who previously believed in conspiracies, but the events that have been happening recently makes me rethink this. As I write this Hub, I’m being bombarded with IP addresses trying to hack into my computer. How do I know? I have my virus protection set up to make noise. There are hundreds of new bills passed in Congress every day, that few even know about, until it somehow mysteriously effects them personally. I can feel the ‘change’ in the air, but can’t really put my finger on it’s direction. Something smells ‘fishy’ in the White House, but no one can find the source.

Despite the efforts of some, to confuse us, by conspiring to maliciously force us to believe otherwise, We, the People, are determined to find a way to live our lives in the manner our founding fathers intended.

I bet you if CNN kept telling us it used it's "claws" to get on top - over and over again, eventually we'd believe it. Or some of us anyway ...

I had to give a little thought to that Turtle, then I put it together with the point "with less than 150 days in the Senate, no qualifications or credentials available." and it reminded me that I have not heard a lot about the powers that moved Obama into the Presidency. How much money did someone pay the Networks to ordain the KING. There is no way any one person could be established as the 'Greater Power" without some even GREATER POWER behind him. Then my next question if someone has the resources to make an unknown such as Obama, President, Why doesn't that person just run for office, Possible answers, Non-citizen, Another government buying control of the USA, anti-American group or individual.. Look at the CZARS for possible answers, if you were conspiring to take control of our government and you knew you would have no chance, you Buy a puppet such

Obama, then he appoints you as one of his CZARS.. Conspiracy Theory?? It Works for Me..

WHICH CZAR PUT THAT TURTLE ON THAT FENCE? ANY IDEAS..

Hi there

Conspiracies are a matter of opinion, but most of the time, they have a core of reality, and then exaggerated, by opinion.

Like UFOs, I can tell you how it started, but then your opinion, would give you reason to doubt or believe (not that I believe in UFOs).Propaganda, mis-information, and dis-information, is what controls minds. The truth is in our face and we dont like what it says.

Go well

It seems that many "theories" are not vetted. Suppositions become fact. That is why governments should not have secrets or classified materials. Identifying information as such breeds nonsense. Classifying or secreting materials only delays your enemies, they will get the information anyway. Not so? Two words proves my point-atom bomb!

jiberish profile image

jiberish  says:

I believe that some secrets are worth keeping, too much information gives amunition for the enemy. Thanks for contributing.

rickshadrick  says:

I think I like this one out of all the Hubs you've written jiberish. I think a lot of media explotations, misconseptions, and misguided or misunderstood notions tend to lead to some of these so called "theories". In one of my Hubs I commented that only 1/3 of the people that dabble into the news or media world, tend to believe what they read, hear and see as factual evidence. Good post!

What? He served in the US Senate from 2005 to 2008. A little more than 150 days. No qualifications and credentials? What? It's very simple to go to Wikipedia to find out his credentials.

There are plenty of other places to go if Wikipedia isn't good enough for you. The point is, you make an assertion that contradicts facts. Back it up.

Not trying to harrass you. Just returning the favor since you commented on my hub. I'm sure we share some common convictions as far as personal liberty and distrust of authority.

But I do feel like I should counter false statements when I see them. Check out this link for more information.

From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.

William R. Wilson profile image

William R. Wilson  says:

Read the link I sent you. The Senate was in Session for 304 days during the time he was in office. And Obama only passed on 11 votes during that time:

"Sen. McCain missed 58 votes but, to his credit, did cast 587 votes. Sen. Obama? He missed 11 votes and cast 634 votes. That's a lot of votes for someone who, as implied by the article, only worked for 143 days."

Dear jiberish,

Great Hub, as usual. I have always had a real sick feeling in the pit of my stomach that Obama's presence in the White House is an event that has been in the works for a very long time. Who is behind his rise to power is another question that demands answers before it is too late. If I sound paranoid, it is with good reason.

Dear jib,

I think the puppetmaster may bare the name of Soros which was changed from Schwartz to Soros because Soros is a palindrome and has a Hungarian meaning, soros means "next in line, or designated successor".

POP, I'm doing a little digging and will try to see who is the mastermind. It may take a while. Thanks for your great Hubs and comments.

Tom, Soros's name does keep comming up, but there is someone else, I just can't put my finger on it just yet. Will keep you updated. Soros comes from my country and I have several e-mails to relatives there. Thanks for visiting.

I really enjoyed this article. Many people want to believe that something is going on, but have no facts to back them up. I look at the quotes and beliefs of our Founding Fathers, the Debates, the news, and even International news on Youtube that shows something is afoot in our Country. The Government assuming Powers not meant to be theirs. And the reduction in the Rights and Liberties we were meant to have. Writings from Lysander Spooner in the 1800's about Virtues and Vices and his letters to Congress and Senators even show that this was happening in his lifetime. It's not Science Fiction, it's really happening. When people amass great wealth and power, they just want more of it. And the only way they can achieve that is by pushing we the people around. Greed has always been a formidable foe to every man and woman in the history of the human race. Why can't people visualize it now? Nothing new has changed in this country since it's founding as far as Corruption goes.

Great Article.

I think it's the 'facts' that we have to be suspicious of - we're bombarded with them in the press, on the telly and on the internet and rehashed over and over again - if that isn't enough to make us suspicious, what is?! If one lone source is saying something different then it's always worth sitting up and taking notice! (It does of course give the source the automatic title of 'loony'!)

Nice hub! Glad to have found it!
