The Day I met Hubpages

I was in middle of my life and the ex-bf left me. My sister who I suspect will be successful in the field of sales (but she doesn't know it yet) came to my rescue. She came to my house with those exciting big brown eyes look on her face(not as big as mine).
"Guess what sistah! I have a friend whose earned a million bucks from adsense. She was able to build a house and bought herself a car" the introduction begun.
"Really, What's adsense?" I replied.
"Adsense is by google, you create an account and write your blog in hubpages." Kath the saleswoman said.
"Really? I know google. Maybe, this is it we're gonna get rich. I'm gonna build my dream home and buy a car. I don't know anything about that can you teach me?" My mind went absolutely dreamy and my eyes twinkled of the possibility of becoming a rich girl.
And so I begun my journey with adsense by google and hubpages. I checked my earning everyday and saw that I earned $0.74 from my first month. That devil sister, didn't tell me that it will take me a lifetime before I get rich in hubpages. She missed something on the sales pitch. I should have stopped her in front of my door and blurt, "What are you selling? What are you selling?."
I was absent most of the time from my first month in hubpages. Until I met a fellow hubber who was always eager to cheer me up after I published a hub. He is an Art History Teacher/Online Junkie. I admired his style of writing and the English vocabulary that he puts in his basket right in front of his computer which I must admit, it's enormous and impressive. The organic plants outside his window with the sign "Call of Nature Purposes Also." I think it's alright to name drop him...Cris A

And there goes the toady with his snoopin' wife. He made me giggle most of the time with his hubs. He was the first one who made me laugh with his writing. I was amazed how loving and naughty this person is. He will probably hate me from this description. An equally dignified man who stands on his ground and knows what he wants. I shall not comment on his English vocabulary because it is not necessary, the man lives in the States and he uses the language everyday. However, I admire his style of writing, I can feel the man and I can see the beer on the side while he writes his hubs. It is the goldentoad and nothing less.I forgot to mention the bottle container which also has a sign that says, "Call Of Nature Purposes Also." (I had to click edit for this)
Now, I'm hooked up for life and I see myself growing here in hubpages. I have yet to discover the great authors out there. I am glad to be here, I will even do this for free.

Kidding aside, I had no idea you were feeling kind of lost when I first encountered your hubs, i initially thought you were a "regular" seeing the almost real-time exchanges we had in one of your earlierst hubs. Anyway, I'm glad i am able to cheer you up everytime though it has never been my intention - my primary intention being just to thank you for your inspiring hubs. I had to read this since I am currently half way through my first day. Relevant? I don't know but I'm glad I visited regardless.
