The difference between falling in love physically and emotionally seem to be easily construed. To answer the questions, all one would have to do is to explain the differences between what constitutes physical and what constitutes emotional. Men fall in love physically and men fall in love emotionally. Those simple  inferences are far from the truth.

Men can fall in love emotionally as well as physical and vice versa for women. The differences of falling in love regarding the physical side of love and the emotional side of love depend on the individuals involved in the relationship. Two people must fall in love with each other both physically and emotionally for the relattionship to work.

Men are obviously more visual and therefore tend to be more physically involved in relationships. Young men at the teenage level are known to ask their girlfriends to show them that they love them by having sex together. Young women fall into this trap of the young man's self fulfillment thinking that they are proving their love by giving in. The resultant pregnancy proves that the young man was just about having fun with sex when he relinquishes on his responsiblity to take care of the child.

That scenario indicates that physical sex has little to do with proving that love exist between two people. Sex is the making of two people into one being to symbolize their love for each other. The physical side of a relationship has been exploited and today no longer indicates that love exist between two people. Sex today is like going to the store to buy a loaf of bread. You need the bread to make a sandwich to put with your ham and cheese. After you have had your sandwich and is completely satisfied, then it is time to go and try a different type of sandwich.  No committment of love whatsoever exist, the man or the woman just want to fulfil a physical need for sex.

The woman however still looks at sex as meaning something more than just two people having fun in bed. She called the sexual encounter a relationship because therein lives her willingness to let her man have his pleasure with her. Except for a one night stand that many women are allowing themselves to experience, more often than not a sexual relationship for a woman means an emotionally relationship as well.

When these two parts of the relationship work in correlation with each each other; that is, the physical part of love and the emotional part of love, then you have a relationship that has lasting value. The only difficulty with the physical realm of love and  the emotional realm of love is that you must make sure that the good feelings of unison is being reciprocated. No one can be physically and emoitonally in love alone. The word relate is like the word transient; there must be a connection between two entities.

The connection of the physical and emotional reciprocations of love means that a true relationship of love has been created that should be cherished, nourished and protected.
