The Different Paths of Depression

When I read about news of the world, domestic issues, kidnapping cases and whatnot, (I don't have any specifics because I'm so disgusted by the so many cases around and I can't remember which is which already), some criminals have been found; some not, I am starting to wonder whether there are really lots of psychos in this world that we live in.  I won't know; perhaps the guy I've run into the other day is a kidnapper (this is just for instance), and I'll never know.  Get what I mean.  You won't know until you are a victim, as the saying goes.  Have you guys ever heard of bipolar symptoms? I've heard of it; but don't know what it's all about, really.

Question that I've been wondering for the longest time ever is, do people suffering from depression realize that they are perhaps, err, a psycho? I don't think so.  Speaking of depression symptoms, there could be a lot that we don't realize.  They say that if someone has been depressed for long periods of time, that can be a cause for concern.  I wonder whether anxiety depression is a normal thing.  Sometimes, when we are say, sitting for an important examination and stuff like that, we can have an anxiety depression.  But I'm guessing that is just for a temporary period, not for long anyway.  Can a person with bipolar symptoms act dangerously, or is it just purely out of an erratic behavior.

As for those people whom are not very comfortable in a social crowd, there can be confidence classes to help overcome this.  That isn't so bad, really because the only kind of weird behavior can be felt during those social events.  I think social anxiety disorder treatment is something that exists.  What do you think? In my normal way of thinking, I do feel that depression can be treated.  But it might take some time, and perhaps someone whom really cares for that person very much, to help her or him to move forward and live a happy life, without being sad so much.  In short, depression symptoms are not supposed to serve as a warning sign totally, so that we can just ward off from that person.  But actually, it gives an ample warning so that those whom care could seek help for that person.

Can medication help? It might, depending on the situation and what the doctor prescribes for; depending on the situation.  Last but not least, depression is something that can be treated and try not to be scared of people suffering from this.  In a way, let's all help one another to ward off this form of mild sickness, which can prove to be fatal, if it's neglected too long.  It might also prove dangerous to the person suffering from the it because they might do something dangerous to themselves.

I admit that many people in this world cannot cope with the rest of the world. You're right, HPWriter: Those who are in need of treatment should receive treatment not only for their only benefit, but for the benefit of society as well. Thanks for sharing this.

I suffered from severe depression for about seven years. Then with the help of my family, I eventually worked out it. It is by far the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Some people just don't have that kind of strength to better themselves.
