Ok, anybody that knows me knows that it goes without saying that I LOVE dessert. I will eat my dessert first. I will eat dessert for breakfast. I must always have dessert. I love cakes, pies, cookies, doughnuts, etc. Ok, you get the idea. One of my favorite desserts of all is banana pudding. I found this easy recipe in a magazine and put my own spin on it. It is one of the most requested items from my family at get-togethers. Everybody loves it . I make a huge bowl of it and the bowl comes back clean every time. It's quick, delicious and easy. What's not to love! Oh, and it's healthy too. The first time I made it for my family I let them eat it first then I told them I made it with fat free whipped cream and fat free milk. They couldn't believe it, because it tasted so good. What are you waiting 4? I want me some puddin'.....
Ingredients
1 (14 oz) can Eagle brand Sweetened Condensed Milk, Fat Free
1 1/2 cups cold water
1 (4-serving size) box instant Vanilla Pudding Mix or Banana Cream Pudding Mix
3 tubs Whipped Cream, Fat Free
2 boxes Vanilla Wafers
bunch of Bananas, sliced
Preparation
- In large bowl combine Sweetened Condensed Milk and water. Add pudding mix, beat well. Chill 5 minutes in the freezer.
- Add Whipped Cream. Mix well.
- Spoon some of the pudding mixture into serving bowl. Top with Vanilla Wafers and Bananas. Repeat layering until bowl is full.
- Slide some Vanilla Wafers into the edge of the bowl halfway. Crush a few wafers and sprinkle crumbs on top for garnish.
- Voila! Enjoy.....
**Tip: When you put the vanilla wafers on top of the pudding, make sure you cover all the pudding. Putting in lots of wafers makes it taste better.*
