The electronic cigarette is a device that consists of a battery, an atomizer and a cartridge that offers smokers a similar product to that of the tobacco cigarette, but is powered by a lithium ion battery.
The electronic cigarette does not function on combustion, which allows this truly fire safe cigarette to emit no second hand smoke and to offer the user the satisfaction of the hand to mouth ritual of smoking as well as the nicotine.

Who is the Electronic Cigarette Association?
The Electronic Cigarette Association (ECA) is comprised of suppliers and manufacturers who wish to be a self-regulated industry. Members of the ECA offer an alternative to smoking tobacco cigarettes and currently, the ECA is working to help change the future of the Electronic Cigarette, which many anti-smoking groups feel needs to be eradicated.
