Hubing is an art form, a skill set, a great outlet for all that data streaming through your head all the time, and a money making venture!

I absolutely love hubing, I'm addicted I admit it but what's not to be addicted to? I get to do what I love, learn a new concept in making money and I even have fans who love my work. Who could ask for anything more?

Forums are your best friend but if you neglect to follow the TOS you will lose this valuable commodity.

When you enter the forum use it for what it's for leave your ego at the door, as Hub pages will strictly enforce their terms of service to include forum conduct, and if you insult, attack or belittle anyone in the forum you will lose your hub pages privileges or even your entire account. I for one cannot participate in the forum for this reason.

I lost my access to the forum because I kept taking good advice as insulting information, but come to realize now that I was just being way too sensitive to others criticism.

but I want to avoid you losing this privilege as it is a very valuable asset to learning this trade the fastest.

This article is a work of consolidating what I've personally experienced and what I've found others systematically experience in their time on hubpages. Hubpages is an amazing social vehicle as well as a money making venture... Its magic is hard to explain but its experience is just too cool not to try to explain.

I hope to help new Huber's learn the ways of the hub pages experience, and to hopefully guide them into the realities of writing hub page articles for future residual income! In short I hope to save you from the mistakes I and many new Huber's make in perceiving the trade incorrectly thus leading to failure to make that money..

The truth is the money is there. The reality is that the work at first is hard but can be very fun too. Hard work is not always synonymous with pain, it just means effort is involved. Many things require great effort but are a lot of fun and rewarding as an experience.

It's kind of like weight training (for the mental state?) , its hard work but watching those muscles grow in the mirror makes it fun.. And that first girl to come up and stare at those new baby muscles wellll you get my drift.. That girl is your first hubs comments, and the fans that want to see anything you write show up on their screen.. But I'm getting ahead of myself here.

If you do it right you will see how we make this seemingly daunting task of learning the trade so fun, that most of us never really feel the growing pains of entering this complex yet illuminating world. The experience is so different from what we've ever known. Becoming the guru's we aspire to be but never having thought we would have such an opportunity to do hits us with such amazing surprises at every turn! It's exciting!

Hub Pages is a very addictive site. With all the fun available here its hard to stop writing hubs even if you didn't want to make money!

Hubpages is much more than just a site you learn to write articles that generate money in. Hubpages is a phenomenon if you ask me. It's such a magical experience the more you're here that it can be classified as a physical and mental addiction by classic text book definitions of addiction!

Based on that there are withdraw repercussions if you should be kicked off, leave or one day stop utilizing the service. You've been warned (*wink*).

What's the phrase we hear every day by new Huber's? (Everyone feel free to say this out loud together!)

These are the words coming out of just about every new HubPages Recruite's keyboard. We are all after that money, and why not, we're willing to earn it and are tired of our jobs.

This is easy money but its not quick money. It takes patience and work but the actual steps involved are very easy (some can be taxing like the learning curve and writing, editing articles etc.. but the work itself is easy enough a jr. high school kid could do this.. if their wasnt an age limit that is..)

Don't quit your day job just yet, you'll still need it for a while yet.. unless you enjoy the stimulation of struggling and starving at which point I have to warn you, you will fail at this as it WILL NOT likely (although not impossible either) sustain you in the first year, and your goals will morph into failing outcomes that will rob you of the very life blood that makes this work..

No keep your day job for now.. You'll want to brag to your coworkers anyway about your writing career so keep it to pay the bills for now and the money later will become your beacon of hope. Your hard work now at your day job will really become the launch pad for your ambition to make this work as you will come to realize this is a real opportunity to get out of that nine to five and into an illuminating and exciting field of authorship for cash money.

Remember a couple things:

1. Failure contrasts success: this means if you don't fail you don't appreciate success. If your not poor you don't appreciate (as much) being rich and so on. The idea is to appreciate your shortcomings and struggles because they are what will make the success so sweet!
2. Perserverence wil pay off. This is easy the hard part is sticking with it and patience. Use your resources here, the forum the people, the hubs people write to help you understand everything.

This hub is to wrap your head around the psychology of hubing, For now let's bask in the glow of the fun this is. This is what will carry you through those hard times coming.. anything worthwhile includes tests of strength (strength training I call them).. so I want to both teach you and prepare you to fall and land on a mattress not concrete. Remember this:

The Fall is Inevitable. The Landing is Programmable! (yep made my own quote go me!).

When it gets going full force it could very much, more than sustain you it could take you higher than your current income level.. Again its not entirely easy money but the journey is a lot of fun none the less! Success is really a journey not a destination.

Think of your time now as an investment in your future, think of the work as easier than your job yet more rewarding later financially than your job.. Think of this as your second job and put as much work into it as if you had a boss..

Your job now may be paying you more money initially for your time but if anything happens to you your money stops. This venture if done correctly and patiently will sustain you much longer than your job. If you follow the blueprint, and perservere you will eventually make more money than your job and the money will come in even if you stop writing..

This is called residual income. I like to think of my day job as the money now and this as the early retirement money later. Some make alot in the first year, others take longer but make more. This venture is determined by your leg work at first and your ongoing promotion efforts. Once an article gets out there full force (popular) and the linkbacks are substantial you can spend more of your time promoting new hubs. The more cash cow hubs you write the more money you will bring in.

This is your 401 k of future income only the deposits are your time and initial efforts and the pay off can be more than a regular 401k.. again it takes work, but the return on your investment can be substantial.

Your working for you part time right now and you better not let you down or their will be hell to pay.. Don't get fired on your first week for dereliction of duties ok? You're a tough cookie, but as your own boss you're a real ass**** if you catch yourself sleeping on the job. Screw the law if you catch you sleeping on the job your going to beat yourself up later.. were talking domestic abuse.. If you treat your new writing career with discipline you will build skills and concepts you never thought of before and it will spill out into your world making life more efficient and managable.

There is money to be made but please... Allow me to enlighten you as to the way it really works around these parts...

You will be absolutely amazed at how fast you grasp this and how far you come in just a few months time.. Most of you who have been here a few months can look back in awe of the strides you've surpassed just part time working on this right? Imagine how far you'll get in a year! This is the job that pays you much longer after you stop working..

Residual income is one of the halmarks of vurtual security.. in a world where security doesnt exist, this is as close as you'll come.. so clutch this opportunity and keep going.. Don't chase the money at first because you won't see any for at least 6 months but when it does start to roll in oh boy.. what exciting times those are! It will feel like free money.. as when it rolls in heavily it will be during the time you decide to rest from your efforts.. they do pay off.

This hub is designed to save you the trouble of feeling confusion for two months like the rest of us had to endure trying to wrap our heads around this entire concept.

Although some things require time and patience learning the concept is not something you want to wait too long to figure out as it leads you into the how. Nothing else will make sense until you understand how it all works. Although the mechanics of how to make this work take time to aquire you can learn the concept (the psychology) behind it relatively quickly with the right advice.

This is only complex at first because its so different from what you've ever known. Everyone is teaching you tricks and tactics for getting started but I notice no one is helping you wrap your head around this concept psychologically, the hardest part. Sure they tell you the mechanics of how to make pages but you need to first understand the human side, the psychology of the journey and the fascinating tips tricks and wonderment that you will only find amongst the peers of the hub pages community.

When you achieve comprehension (of the concept of this industry) the rest is cake.

Before we begin I want to lay your foundation in concrete reality not hardened mud dreams that will dissolve when the first failure tsunami hits...

Yes their will be failures but realize failure is just life's way of driving home the reality check that nothing goes perfect all the time so this is life's little lessons in experience and how to NOT fall again..

Luckily for us life has compassion and often tries to teach us these tough lessons early on not later.. Some people try too hard to bypass this lesson and well they fail later rather than sooner and it costs them in the long run.. dearly.

Trust me you want to fail a lot at first, for failure is not only inevitable it is important to the development of your hubpages writing/earning maturity. What kid never skins his knee or falls down? These things build the foundation for not falling down or skinning your knee as an adult (I don't think I've ever skinned my knee as an adult wow it works!).

You want to fail now for a very simple reason.. Its going to happen now or later and later is bad.. The harsh reality is that the failing NEVER stops not even later if you learn now.. but what happens is you learn lessons about the failure monster now and you are now armed with a sword to fight it later.. And automatically by taking steps to avoid it..

It's not about dissolving failure, its about being prepared to handle it in an automated fashion by earning a thick skin and being smart about how you do things to avoid being in the direct path of oncoming traffic. Learning to drive doesnt prevent bad drivers from hitting you but learning to drive helps you prepare to get out of harms way if they are coming at you and you see them.

Not failing while your first learning to drive (backing into the garage door?) is akin to jumping in a car never having learned to drive and that really bad driver is coming at you but your spending all your concious time staring at the shifter knob instead of realizing your about to get hit head on and not looking out the window and reacting with precision speed and skill. If you don't fail now you'll get hit later. Understand?

Right now you are just getting to know the beast and so your fighting with bare fists which hurts as you punch the walls of reality, but soon grow calices and acquire wisdom armor.. The failures don't stop coming but as they say an ounce of preparation beats a pound of cure!

Learning to deal with failures now gives you the wisdom to avoid putting yourself in front of the failure or it helps you deal with it more diplomatically, learning through failing is also a way to learn to react to things differently hence producing a more productive result of the interaction, hence you aren't impacted by them.

Although you will undoubtedly watch others around you get punched by them you yourself will know better. Its about taming the beast not killing it.. Its like that fear character on charmed, you can't kill it but you can win the battles it tries to force upon you. It's power to hurt you is derived from you not it, you cannot change "it" but you can change how you percieve, react, and act in relation to its influence!

Fail now while you can afford to fail.. When no money's coming in it's the perfect time, when your failures cost you thousands of dollars you will really wish you fell and got back up now not later..

Now your failures will solidify your success later.. things your learning now are going to become your antivirus program armed and ready to protect you from losing money later.. So you see failure now is a good thing, it prepares you with a tough thick skin so you can't screw yourself out of your money..

I am trying to do what no one else is doing here, I'm showing you that you will fail, you will fall and you will "skin your mental knee" but its not a bad thing just the process of maturity in earning that phat dollar later. Failing and learning from it is as pertinent to your success as writing the articles is to driving traffic to your ads is to making you that money.

I want to really nail this home as it's a staple most people miss and is the reason most people fail and QUIT.

Think of it this way too.. Falling out of that tree as a kid, I slammed my chin on the very stump I used to climb the tree, I must've been about 5 years old..

Because I was new- er I mean, Young- and resilient and my parents had good medical insurance my failure here was safe, I didn't have to worry about losing work while I healed, or going to work injured, I recovered and was safe.. but if I fell out of a tree today and hit my chin I have no medical, and losing time off work would really impact me (pun?) but lessons I learned as a kid well I wont be climbing any trees any time soon..

Also sticking with that metaphor of a real life experience here.. Hitting my chin on a stump from an 8 foot fall now would shatter my jaw where by as a kid I was so dam tough that it just hurt a whole lot and broke nothing miraculously!

I did lose some teeth but they were baby teeth so you see the loss then and the loss now would be detrimental to my smile don't you think? Back then I could afford to lose teeth in this fall because they were just the first set that yes can re-grow, today those teeth don't just grow back as I'm into my adult set... hence the point of my lesson is clear. (if your cringing realize I don't have any memory of the pain of losing the teeth).

We do the same thing in school, its why jobs like us to be college graduates, because we know more because were educated but because they would rather you failed their then at work with their company.. its the reason experience is so valuable too.. right now your forging your experience so stop unrealistically thinking your going to never hit a bump in the road, I'm here to tell you their are many but you start to navigate them with your new 4wheel drive atv of experience and the bumps become the fun part! (weee?)

I won't BS you, I'll give it to you straight here but I'll also show you the amazing potential your about to embark on.. Getting paid to do what you love.. To write, to teach, to express your most cherished lessons in articles to others who are dying of thirst for your nuggets of delicious intellectual lemonade.

You will find the currency you earn in this trade goes far beyond just making cash money. You will truly become addicted to this site within a few weeks time, (insert hypnodisk) as a Huber your now a part of something bigger than yourself, a community of people that are wonderfully supportive and generous with their time.. The rest you'll just have to experience for yourself..

It really is an amazing social interaction and a fun site to work at. (Yes that was a pun). If you don't believe its an addictive site then I invite you to read the hubs where Huber's have addressed this issue in some detail..

This however is not a bad addiction.. Think of it as an addiction to success and social interaction with like minded individuals! This addiction becomes a valuable habit actually and is good for your health, finances, and livelihood.

After reading this guide I hope your mind is wide open and ready to start your journey to earning a living as a hub pages writer. It takes a strong grasp on the realities of this trade, what it is and what it is not to assure your unwavering success.

This is not a pipe dream, people are making thousands a month right here on hub pages with less than 2 years experience and interaction on articles they wrote long ago.. But also be aware their are people here with alot of hubs, great hubs, monitized and whom have hundreds of fans that are not making crap.. Writing hubs is the first part, monitizing them is the second part, and the most important part is getting out there to promote your work.. for traffic is the chaching chaching $$$ source. You won't write several hundred hubs and make money by sitting back and "watching the doe collect in your adsense account".. that's not how it works, at least not if you don't do some serious advertizing.

You need to go out and learn about link backs, post articles on blogs elsewhere and link them to your hub pages, utilize the plumbing of hub pages to direct hubpages traffic to your hubs (both internally and externally). The best part about this is the residual income, that's income that keeps coming in long after you are done writing the article. Think of each of your articles as an employee, a loyal income producing agent in your company, at first this employee is fresh and needs training, then you build in it skills (monetize it) and before you know it its out there on its own bringing in the cash (link backs and popularity across the net, high rankings on the search engines bring in more traffic thus more income).

No employee starts out fully vested in earning money, although when you become seasoned at monetizing your articles you will actually punch out some articles that may right away start earning money.. especially if you are networked so many people are already checking out anything new you write!

A few things I can tell you (that are in that other hub in detail) are, go out and add alot of fans to your list. I'd probably advise you to wait till you've produced a good 20 or so hubs of HIGH quality first. The reason is when you add someone they will often add you AFTER reading a few of your hubs to see if they want to get your broadcast on their hubtivity. If you write bad articles poorly written they wont add you as a fan. If you write some captivating stuff they will add you to see what you write next. The psychology here is that your valuable and added them and the law of reciprocation takes over and you become their fan and them yours, the more fans that "link back" to you the more people that see your articles when you publish them.

For example say you have 300 fans when you publish an article those 300 people will see it in their hubtivity and many will click into it if it sounds interresting (so make captivating titles too!). If your article is really good they will bookmark it, digg it, and share it, this is a powerful engine of traffic generation! Your first line of readers will undoubtedly be hubers. So before you even go out to promote your hubs you will have a following of readership that could help you get the word out! they may even link it to their hubs so this is a bonus!

If you only have 3 fans then not so many will see your new work. Once you establish a great set of hubs its vital to seek out people to be-fan :) you could even write them a note that captivates them to read one of your articles. I for one write alot of psychology hubs so I do a search daily for psychology hubs to read then I add the author as a fan if I like his or her work, I leave them a note to see a hub similar to the one they wrote in my collection and often they will become my fan.. This is explained in more detail in the above linked hub on traffic secrets.

If you'd like more psychology on how to get more people to become your fan I wrote an article on how people interact with one another to create trust and valued friendships called Decoding The Emotional Bank Account in it I explain how you must first deposit emotionally valuable "currency" into someones "emotional bank account" to gain the ability to withdraw from it (like getting them to do things for you).

Not everyone who embarks becomes well off at it. I believe this is partially due to the fantasies and outcomes people build then that make them feel disappointment in their progress.

Again the money is real, the opportunity is absolutely real too, but you are not going to make money over night, and without some work on your part.

The actual "job" portion of this trade is relatively easy, the leg work is as well, the learning curve although at first can be taxing, you will get it and it will one day just click together like an amazing 10,000 piece puzzle, and you will create hubs, monetize them, and make them valuable in real time with the incredible precision of a Rolex watch.

By this I mean you will work on them and the first launch could be successful right away, this does not mean you will write them and launch them without editing, first second and third drafting it etc..

You MUST put in the work especially at first but when you get all this down the work part of it is still easy, just time consuming.. Think of it like a marathon Runner..

The training is hard, but the concept is simple, the marathon running eventually becomes easier, still an easy concept, run, pace yourself and win, but the work never stops, the training never ends the running just becomes more natural and thus less like work to you, over time you realize things like your diet affects your energy levels, your not eating before you run affects you not getting runners cramps and so on.

You end up thriving on the work as its second nature and you get to visualize the real results of your efforts from the experiences you've had.. Experience does this, gives you the power to create a cause and KNOW the estimated effect of your actions.. This drives you. You excel, learn, grow, monetize your experiences into wisdom currency.

This makes it exciting to both write the hub and to monetize it and to get it populated all over the web through link backs and other concepts that help your article build traffic. At first the currency is the attention, the ideology that thousands of people are reading your work...

The wow effect you feel just blows you away.. Your now popular all over the world.. Sure the money will come but right now this IS your money, your livelihood.. This industry is so rewarding that by the time the money comes you will realize that there is much more benefit than just cash flow..

Although cash flow will always be your guiding light the other currency you create will carry you till the money does kick in.. And it makes the trip worthwhile and motivating. College is like this, as you go to school and learn but you have many other currencies than that degree, the parties, the social fun, the many, many things you feel and experience that you never forget, the fraternities and so on..

Well hub pages brings you things of this nature but on a different level that is more intellectually and socially stimulating, and this gets you to that diploma of money by cushioning the journey, and paying you along the way in other ways money just cannot buy anyway!

I believe at first you should focus on this more than money as focusing on money may drive your ambition into the ground, but this other thing, popularity, traffic.. It will drive your ambition up.. It will excite you and make you love this writing thing even more..

You will write "your fans" amazing and valuable articles that will later earn you your rent money.. But for now you are writing to improve lives, enrich people, and build a foundation.

This is good karma and enlightening, keeping your focus on the real job here, to educate and teach, to help others and making money to sustain yourself becomes the second job.. a job you can be proud of that earns you money to sustain yourself.

It's almost as if god is rewarding you for helping his angels in the tough world to live better more productive lives isn't it?

Hubpages thought of everything when they named their features. Fans are the reason you keep going at first, they are the ambition. As you get new fans, comments on your hubs and the tiny trickles of pennies landing in your Adsense account (the trickle will eventually flow faster don't worry).

This all networks to really drive you to addiction tendencies with hub pages features. The forum is your amazing socializing outlet, your classes, your information portal of where to find the answers, your guru network that are waiting by the phones to take your call, er- well waiting by the hubtivity ticker to answer your concerns.. It gets quite exciting. Hub pages community members are the apidemy of a support group, and ambitious tutorship, and "Friends" out for your best interest.

The whole thing is also what you NEED to focus on as it's akin to building your clientele base! Your first customers will undoubtedly be other Huber's! If you notice your states link on your hubs you will see at first that out of 200 impressions/hits/page views probably 195 are from the hub pages site..

They have over 100 thousand members and growing so this is like a mini internet group that you're trying to get to see your work before the world sees it, what better critiques than other hub page members? As you learn more you break out of the home base collection of page viewers, but at first they are your momma bird helping you grow and taking care of you while your wings develop!

As you start to form friendships, fans, write hubs and get feedbacks (comments), build rapport with the hub page active members in the forum, read articles for both education and to spawn ideas for your next great hub, you start to develop your education, your hubs become better, your writing more focused, your monetizing vehicles become matured and you learn so much.

You had so much fun you almost forgot why you were here- To make money.. Well you didn't forget but you put less importance on it than you started with.. Now you're here for much more.. You love to write and the outlet is so amazing, the friendships your forging are uncanny, and the education your getting so illuminating.. Your growing and you don't feel the pain.. Wow.. Who'd of thought?

The very excitement that you're building your next money making hub becomes the very thing that is no longer work but the very electricity in your blood to build it with amazing potential! Be the runner in training.. Then later you will be the runner who crosses that finish line every time ahead of the pack..

Only the pack is not racing you, their there to support you to assure you make it to that line no matter what. This is hub pages, a non competitive group of people all here to synergize to success, they are intellectuals like you who realize the power of networking because the trade IS about networking, and competition is no longer a valid way to get ahead in this trade..

They are keenly aware that although your articles may trump their own that YOU are also a potential and reliable and loyal guest to their hubs, and knowing that clicking the ads is part of the package, you're a valuable Huber as well.. So helping you helps them and so we all see each other as a family of friends.. and as a potential client who will read their words and give valuable feedback.

It's through our working as a unit, a team, helping one another grow that we all synergize our own wealth, and build good karma in the process. In short it's a load of fun, lucrative in many ways you won't even realize for 2 months!!! (well until now since your reading this, but you will now see it faster and can enjoy it more immensely!)

A Huber once added one of my articles to the stumbleupon book marking site and I am now enjoying over 3,000 unique hits to my article a day, (that's off hubpages.com traffic) this is valuable as the initial adding of my site to this site didn't really hit too hard but within a weeks time this one entry has become an amazing snowball of traffic, and thus far has earned my page over 12,000 page views..

That my friend is the power of other Huber's, they not only know the game but they know that they can help you as much as you can help them and so they do. Just like fans you add to your list often adding a fan will result in them adding you and so it works for both sides. The more fans you have the more people see your new articles published and the more potential clicks and bookmarks of your page you could get!

Endure the learning curve, hub pages community is the most amazing group of people as they are so willing to help you if you just let them, they will bend over backwards to help you succeed, it gives them pleasure to do so..

If you don't believe me go into the forum and ask a question and see how fast you receive a comprehensive answer, even from the hub pages co creator Paul and Jason. You will not get one answer but just about every active Huber in the forum will give you an answer of some sort. It feels like a Google search only their talking directly to you!

If that kind of attention melts your heart like a warm biscuit with hunny and butter, then your going to feel right at home here on hubpages.. And this is just the beginning.

That quick and informative response in the forum was an amazing reality check when I first go there.. The hub pages Huber's and creators/team make this so much fun it's uncanny. I didn't realize that some Huber's were from the other side of the world, Australia to me, where my midnight is their mid day (noon?) and so it seems that round the clock there are at least 8 people (possibly 8,000 or more) circulating on hubpages actively writing hubs or checking hubtivity, so when I posted a question I got an answer literally within a few minutes!

And the dialogue went on for hours.. I couldn't go to bed that first night because I was so energized by all of this attention and excitement for what was coming of my hub pages experience. Don't make the mistake I did though and set up a campsite in the forum.. It's addictive but you got work to do and you can't do it living in the forum.

I ended up making other mistakes that almost cost me my membership on hubpages that I'll get into later down this hub but trust me when I tell you, get in get info get out get to writing those hubs that are your future cash cows. LEAVE YOUR EGO OUT OF THE HUB PAGES SITE. You have a lot of mistakes to make before your hubs will be worth money so the sooner you get started and write the faster your lessons will come and the money will follow your improvements.

The real deal here is, no get rich quick infomercial format that will crush your dreams before they can even become seasoned and realized. If you keep you're head on straight and think in realistic ways, it will happen, but it does take time and patience and some work on your part. Some aspects of the work are temporary, others are on going but you will learn ways to even make that part easy and effortless, experience helps you learn automation.

Like anything worthwhile you have to pay your dues, learn the trade and be willing to spend countless hours reading, learning and growing.. Above all have the patience and self discipline to persevere and wait out the parts that take time.

During your "waiting period" you should be reading, learning, asking questions and writing! Nothing is going to come to you, you have to find it and these are the ways to do it. This is not a free ride but it is a lucrative opportunity if you take it seriously.

Some things can be sped up, like wrapping your head around the concept of this trade, but you must realize this trade although will eventually if you persevere with tenacious effort, bring you lots of money/earnings/residual income, it is not a get rich quick trade, but more so a get rich slow but stay rich long type of deal.

This is the real deal and you can make a lot of money but patience is your most valuable currency right now, and you will have to actively learn the trade to make the most of it.. This is where this guide helps you build a blue print of what you'll need to do to get the most out of it.

Learning how to do it is easy, but learning the individual parts although easy as well requires some real leg work to make it lucrative. It does get easier with time and experience will pay off like a finely invested dollar.. I am myself only 2.5 months old in this site but I have done extensive research and reading, trial and error and I am offering you the fruits of my research and personal experience. The thing I believe is responsible for a new Huber having to learn so much first before really comprehending the trade is wrapping their head around the very concept then trying to link together all the alien terminologies, concepts and monetization strategies which won't really make sense until you really dig in and learn how to write hubs, and learn how to work the basic hub pages system..

A lot of new Huber's want the money, their chasing the dream but their haste in chasing the money is what puts them into such a confusing tail spin. Regardless of all the Huber's that tell them to just set up their 3 money making affiliates (eBay Amazon and Adsense) then just write hubs and play with it, but write hubs first, they keep insisting on figuring this aspect out first.

They eventually end up giving up and going back to the writing and discover that this is the key to really wrapping their head around this industry and concept of making money this way.

The only thing hub pages is really missing is a grand tour of the psychology of the new Huber's trip.. they find their answers often in the forums or they check out countless hubs on how to write a hub but most of them only deal in the mechanics of writing hubs not the psychology of patience and why your doing things "this" way.

Telling people to be patient and just write hubs is akin to telling a negative person to just think positively. Without further instructions this is just too hard a concept to grasp and follow.. Not to mention an impatient money hungry newbie is not going to just go oh ok, I'll be patient - nope, their going to say hmm ok how can I learn to make money faster.. That person was no help.. When they finally hit the brick wall that was inevitably coming, they then give up the fight and just start writing.. Then it clicks and a light bulb lights up and the other Huber's words now make sense..

I want to make sure you realize that this is a community and we scratch each others backs here. Don't only look out for number one here it's the surest way to fail or to lose support from these guys who are amazing resources. Read other Huber's articles, you'll learn how to write them well.

Comment on their hubs, you'll help them raise their hub score and keep their page dynamic, and your feedback is greatly appreciated as you'll realize when you get those exciting notifications as you log into your account that "23 comments are waiting to be moderated" really gets your ambition to write flowing and makes you feel the love! This site is the swiftest karmic return I've ever witnessed. You give they give; everyone is having a great time. Above all make sure your having a good time, that's the key to perseverance, drive and motivation in the beginning especially. No one is better than anyone else, the seasoned Huber's are simple that, experienced and willing to share their wisdom.. You could become better than them if you do things right and one day may be offering THEM your advice that will help them.. Don't compete- Network.

When you get your head around how this, the thing works, the engine purrs and you start to work more effectively towards the money. Nailing down the concept more easily is the plight of this hub

Personally it took me 2 months to really nail down the concepts such as affiliate linking, writing the hub in a way that earns money not just what's known as "Organic traffic" or traffic that doesn't click ads, hence doesn't make you money, and many others. As a new Huber the hubs on how to do this stuff become important staples to your journey. As you learn I implore you to write help hubs too, this adds to the dynamic "help section" of the hubpages experience, you may see something others missed or see an angle others didnt cover.. new hubers which are coming in every day will appreciate your hubs and that gets you fans, and fans become link exchanges as your new hubs appear in their hubtivity for all to see! ALot of help hubs for "newbies" are written without awareness that terminology hasnt been integrated yet by the newbie, whcih makes this hub useless to them. You have to understand what their talking about for example when they mention "link exchange" or anything about it is gibberish.

Some of these hubs are written without realizing the newbie is often ignorant of even the terminology that the author is so used to that they think its common sense to realize the meaning but this isn't always the case. Words like monetize, and writing a "hub" are often alien to a newbie who has no idea what their talking about so this hub is seen as too complicated or elusive in information even though its chalked full of great information.

Even the best written hubs had me a little confused only because some concepts are just not easily explained, in fact you must do them to really "get it", but I think it has a lot to do with comprehending the very concepts they are about. As I learned the affiliate thing for example it was so simple once I learned the concept that made it so confusing in the first place. It's like a child playing with blocks, simple right? But not simple to understand unless you realize the concept of building things.. Get it? Good moving on..

I myself being semi-Seasoned in the online world but having no real clue how this Adsense business worked found the hubs on how to do this interesting but a bit confusing, like reading the article in another language but I could pick out the major themes and meanings..
