War and weapons manufacturing are sacred cows of hate talk and are not limited to the airwaves. Fear online is now spread by internet trolls.
War and weapons manufacturing are sacred cows of hate talk and are not limited to the airwaves. Fear online is now spread by internet trolls.

Fear of Change

The fear of change continues its grip on a surprising number of the American populace. Does listening to a blowhard on public airwaves enlighten us? Daily, and nightly, the masses are bombarded with a frightening display of stupidity screeching from the radio or the flat screen television. Subject matter is varied. The manner of deliverance is not.

Whether he screams about something as broad as politics or something as limiting as gun supplies, rest assured that, if it weren’t already, the subject is a hot button topic by day’s end. Racism, immigration, health reform, and sexism are worthy subjects for him. The sacred cows are war and weapons manufacturing.

When the political winds of change begin blowing in an unfavorable direction, his jaded beliefs become the battle cry for this fear of change. The fear is then delivered, anonymously and in part, via the internet troll, a bully with limited abilities.

The Extreme Bully

In today’s society, the schoolyard bully is no longer confined to the schoolyard, nor to his neighborhood, nor to the television, nor to the radio. In addition to the playgrounds and the airwaves, the bully now spreads his hate and fear online.  With the click of a switch, his status of shameless ignorance is now elevated to center stage.  Nightly, or daily, it matters not, he enters the online world of forum discussions under what he believes to be the guise of intelligence.

How quickly he turns a civil discussion into a session of personal slurs and name calling.  Anyone who disagrees with his racist and bigoted point of view is his opponent.  Gender is of no importance.  In fact, thanks to his manly mentality, ladies are frequently the recipients of his despicable behavior.

With his mental illness disorder fully displayed, he can easily despise total strangers.  While he’s busy projecting a sense of bravado and masculinity, he fails to see simplicity.  Hidden behind his monitor, secure within his false identity, he fails to realize that his smokescreen is a temporary partition from the realities of life.  Sick and twisted, blinded by hate, he is easily molded, like warm putty; led by mere words.  The schoolyard bully, with an intellect somewhere on the level of barnyard manure, is completely unaware.  The arrogance of ignorance is on center stage, and the whole world is his audience.

Buy Fear

He sells it, and attempts to get us to buy it.  While hogging the discussion boards, he transforms himself into the bloated personality that he worships on his flat screen.  When challenged, his small but loyal bully band strikes up the hate chorus, with that same outdated and out of tune song of ignorance.

If his fear of race and his fear of intelligence weren’t enough, his fear of anyone who questions military operations sends him overboard.  He boasts frequently and loudly of his special skills and his special talents, acquired from his military background and our tax dollars.  While whining for respect, he challenges his audience through disrespect.  His is the meaningless existence, all the while sucking on the teat of a government he so pompously despises.

Anonymous Identity

The only part of his agenda that he wishes to conceal is his true identity.  He believes his alter ego to be secure, never to be revealed.  Through concealment lies his power, the opportunity for bigoted views to spew forth.  A braggart by nature, his is a sad and lonely life.

He is uneducated in how to overcome his fears, but clever in his ability to manipulate.  After total alienation, he then turns back to the ladies in the audience, waving the white flag, seeking favor and social discourse.   He is the consummate con man, the flimflam artist extraordinaire.

Combined, hate and racism is the guiding light for the shallow mind with no soul. Sadly, it is alive and well, and doing just fine in America.

I couldn't agree with your assessments more as this article reveals that technology in the wrong hands creates a "Broadband" forum to proliferate racism, fear, bad political idealogue and a down right scary existence as we are thought to be a civilized and progressive society. One step forward, 3 steps backwards. Con men are the worst sub-species within humanity. Thumbs up article!

hello kartika,

thank you for checking back in - i often wonder if the insanity will ever end. i'm not sure if it's age, or an increased awareness, or both, but the direction we're headed needs to be thoroughly questioned.

Fear is thought! Channel 5 is all about fear in particular. There is always good and evil where ever you go in the world. After 9/11 America was pumped with fear, still pumping. Help your self deal with reality, than you can help others. I stay positive as much as i can. Awake your self first.
