The Feast
41"Welcome home,"
Whispers the wind.
The leaves giggle and whisper
As I walk through the columns of trees
Marching down the hall.
The carpet of leaves, grass, and moss
Cushions my echoing footfalls through the great hall.
Sunshine beams warmly at me,
Winking and flirting through the treetops and clouds.
Infant trees tug at my dress,
Eager for attention and affection.
Their parents stare down in solemnity,
While adolescents tug my sleeves.
And the leaves rain down celebration
At the feast.
God and I, Hand in hand,
Pass under the arch to a beginning,
Another new beginning.
His kisses make me sigh with the wind,
Laugh with the leaves,
Dance with the trees.
Oh, how lovely to be loved.

Yeah, it is about an experience with God, only in poetic metaphorical form. Not sure what you got out of this, walker, but...I'm sorry? I'm not sure that I understood your comment or that you understood my point. This is kind of awkward...
