Clinical Psychology

Clinical Psychology is the branch of psychology which is concerned in the use of psychological technique to recognize and treat behavioral disorders.

Counseling Psychology

Counseling Psychology is the field of psychology which implements and uses the psychological techniques to assist individuals in coping up with normal psychological problems

Experimental Psychology

Experimental Psychology is the area of psychology which is focused in knowing about the basic processes such as perceptions, learning, motivation and cognition.

Physiological Psychology

Physiological Psychology is the branch of psychology which is concerned with the bodily foundation of the behavior.

Comparative Psychology

Comparative Psychology is the field of psychology which is involved in the exploration of comparisons between the behaviors of one species with that of another species.

Education and School Psychology

Education and School Psychology is the psychology branch which uses psychological principles to increase the effectiveness of learning experiences.

Social Psychology

Social Psychology is the area of psychology that investigates group influences upon the behavior of individuals in the society.

Developmental or Genetic Psychology

The Genetic or Developmental Psychology focuses in all kinds of behavior such as childhood, adolescence, and old age.

Industrial Psychology

Industrial Psychology is the branch of psychology that applies psychological principles to the solution of work-related problems. It also deals with the improvement of the efficiency of employees and the promotion of the welfare of the management.

Consumer Psychology

Consumer Psychology is the area of psychology which understands the motivation of consumers and applying the acquired knowledge to influence the consumers buying habits.

Engineering Psychology

Engineering Psychology is more concerned with the study of relationship of people to machine to the purpose of improving such relationships.  This branch may also involve in redesigning equipment, improving the work environment changing the way in which people uses machines or changing the location of the area.

Community Psychology

Community Psychology attends to the studies on the effect of community’s social structure upon an individual behavior. This field also deals with the problems of the aged people, drug problems and rehabilitation, and treatment of prisoners.

Environmental Psychology

Environmental Psychology emphasizes on the studies of the effect of physical environment such as: the heat, noise, crowding, upon behavior, feeling and health of people.

Child Psychology

Child Psychology focuses in the scientific study of human behavior from the pre-natal beginning up to the early adolescence stage of the child.

Adolescent Psychology

Adolescent Psychology involves in the scientific study of puberty up to later adolescent life.

Senescent Psychology

Senescent Psychology concentrates in the scientific study of human behavior during old age stage.

Abnormal Psychology

Abnormal Psychology concentrates in the scientific study of etrology or cause of personality defects.

Legal Psychology

Psychometric Psychology

Psychometric Psychology is the field that concentrates more on the measurement and evaluation of individual as well as group behavior and the application of mathematical procedures to psychological problems.

General Psychology

General Psychology is the broad branch of psychology which seeks to discover the laws and principles that apply to persons in general, which is opposed to differential psychology which finds the way in which people differ.

Forensic Psychology

Forensic Psychology is the area of psychology which involves work within the legal,, judicial and correctional systems in a variety of ways.  For example: participating in decisions whether an accused person is competent to stand trial.
