What is Blu Wood?

Green is the color of organic and BLU is the color of protection.

BLU Wood arrived on the building Sean back in the late 80's but has now become very popular after the flooding here in the Midwest and the Hurricane Katrina Disaster in the south.

Mold and mildew has become one of the nations premier health care concerns but with the use of Blu Wood we can all rest assured that we are doing all we can to help prevent the problem.

What is Blu Wood?

Blu Wood starts out as raw lumber that is sent to a coating facility and coated with a product that prevents mold, mildew and moisture; the coating is derived from minerals taken from the earth.

The coating is actually clear but the Blu coloring is added to distinguish the lumber from all other treated product and to see visually that the entire wood surface is coated .Blu Wood is meant to be used on all above ground applications.
