Meet Hank.. Hank started life with nothing but fully leveled handiness skills, a garishly decorated, though largely empty house, an outside fire and a bunch of wooden lawn furniture. As a carefree, single bachelor, Hank has no shortage of female visitors. He parties when he wants to, burns things when he wants to and has a real wild old time. His best, and totally platonic female friend is Betta Spelndis.

Betta lives across the street from Hank in a castle made for one. Betta's hobbies include building elaborate spying platforms, peeping at her neighbors, and getting caught taking pictures of them whilst they sleep. Her favorite stalking victims are the Frio brothers, because they're so dreamy.

Betta and Hank are firm friends, and in spite of the fact that Betta occasionally invites herself over and cooks in his kitchen, or sleeps in his bed, there's no real hard feelings between them. Even if Hank does toss her out of the house, he's usually quite happy to let her back in the next day.

Occasionally, Betta will run into an old friend, or perhaps an old enemy at Hank's house. On this occasion, she and Jared Frio meet up again after a long absence. It's then immediately clear that these two have not forgotten each other. No, not by a long shot.

He Didn't Start The Fire, Or Did He?

Whilst Betta entertains herself by brawling outside Hank's front door, Hank is at something of a loss. What to do? What to do? The usual sim activities, sleeping, eating, watching tv and dancing to the stereo are okay, but Hank wants more. Hank wants to make his life extraordinary.

At first, piling lawn furniture in front of an open flame just seemed like a fun thing to do. Then Hank came to the realization that it also drew a great deal of attention from neighborhood Sims, like Sunny. Pretty neighborhood bookworm and workout freak with a wild choice in headwear, Sunny always seems to find a reason to come and visit Hank's patch, whether it's ablaze or not.

Before long it became obvious that Hank had taken a shine to Sunny, and after burning three tables, two chairs and an old lampshade, Sunny was his!

As the fire raged outside, so the fire raged within the bosoms of Hank and sunny. They found one another intensely alluring. The attraction was undeniable, irresistible and far too powerful for any sim to resist. The pair consummated their relationship in the way only sims can, in the ancient dance of WooHoo, or as I like to call it 'Try For Baby'.

The story continues in part two, Babies and Betrayal.

A great start to a story. I think the fire is a nice touch. I do enjoy seeing things in the Sims set on fire. It adds much needed spice to the game.
