McKay Earl and 90 Day Marketer

McKay Earl has created the most straightforward training program possible to take you through every step of the network marketing process. It is called The 90 Day Marketer and it is saving so many people time and money. Some training programs just address one or two steps of the process, but The 90 Day Marketer covers every step of the process.

To be successful in network marketing you have to do 4 things very well: 1) Find qualified leads; 2) Pre-selling; 3) Direct Sales; and 4) Coaching. In this article, we'll look at some tips and resources to help you with every step.

1. Leads

The first step, finding qualified leads/prospects, is the biggest challenge for most network marketers. After five years chasing after family and friends and working leads, I finally discovered attraction marketing and learned how to attract qualified prospects to me online.

The key to attraction marketing is creating an online presence and creating content that your target market finds valuable. You also have to make sure your target market finds that content, so you need to understand search engine optimization (SEO).

2. Pre-Selling

Once people find you, you don't want to jump right in with a sales pitch. You want to build trust and establish a relationship with people. The best way to do that is by providing people with valuable information, such as a free ebook, newsletter or videos. Once they've digested that, they are more likely to buy other tools, programs and products from you. This process is called pre-selling and to really be effective, your pre-sell materials should stand on their own. A great example of that is Ann Sieg's free e-book, The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing.

Ann Sieg's 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing

Pre-selling doesn't just involve giving away free information. Once people see value in you and the free information you've provided, they're more likely to buy other programs, tools and information from you. For instance, after people read The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing, they are likely to want to buy Ann Sieg's follow up book, The Renegade Network Marketer. Ann has actually created a very clever system because anyone who does buy The Renegade Network Marketer, also gets access to an entire back-end system with marketing tools and training. She's also attached an affiliate marketing program, so that you not only earn income anytime someone buys her ebook from you, but you can also earn income on 40 other affiliate programs. These other programs include all kinds of marketing tools that help people build their business. The bottom line is that it's a win-win situation for everyone.

Now, everyone is different, but I really believe in having direct contact with people at some point in the process. The goal again is not to sell them on anything but to further build the relationship. After all, if your goal is truly to help them, then you have to take the time to get to know them so you can really understand their needs. Some people prefer to automate the whole process and skip this part, and that's fine. It's your business and it's up to you. I'm just sharing my view.

3. Direct Sales

Okay, so you've attracted people to you who are interested in what you have to share. You've shared some free information with them and pre-sold them on some tools and information to help them build their business. You might be asking yourself how all this helps you get people into your primary network marketing business. The truth is, it doesn't always lead to you selling someone on your primary business, and that's okay. Remember, your goal is not to sell things to people but to help them. If they are looking for a better solution than the one they have, and they think you can help them achieve their goals, then chances are they will work with you. But you have to genuinely come from a place of helping people find solutions for their problems, not trying to sell them.

4. Coaching

Once someone does join you in your primary business, you need to become their mentor and coach. Network marketing is unique in that it's one of the few industries in which duplication is key to your success. I've learned several things about coaching in my years in network marketing and in my studies to become a professional coach. The first is that you can only help people who really want your help. You cannot want someone's success more than they want it themselves. That is perhaps the most frustrating part of network marketing, but it is largely eliminated if you do step 1 well - namely finding qualified leads.

Another key lesson I've learned as a coach is that your job is to help people find the answers within themselves. If you spoon feed people they will become reliant on you for every question and hurdle. And while duplication is critical, you want them to bring their own creativity and unique perspectives to the table. They can take the best from your system and what you have to teach them, but ultimately, they know what works best for them. Your job is to help them bring out the best in themselves. Their business success, and yours, will follow as a result.

Do these four steps well and you will build a successful network marketing business. But don't stop with this article. Take the time to learn more about how to be great at every step. Education brings results.
