There is so much bad news reported that it gives us an imbalanced view of the world. Its makes us think that things are worst than they really are.
Sure there are bad things going on, but there are goods thing going on too. They just don’t get as much coverage as the bad things, because if they did, hardly anyone would watch the news and their rating would go down.
We pay attention when something bad happens. When you pass by an accident, traffic slows down because everybody’s trying to see what happened. In school when a fight brakes out, all the kids gather around to watch because they find it exciting!
People are biased toward watching the bad news, that’s why so much of it gets reported compared to the good news.
So if we want to hear more good news we have to start reporting it ourselves.
That’s what this hub is all about: sharing the good news.
So in the comments section at the bottom of this page, please share with me and others your good news. There are no restrictions on the kind of good news you can share. It can be something simple or something extraordinary!
I’ll start things off.
My fourteen year old daughter who is a dancer helped her best girl friend, who is a gymnast, choreograph a combination gymnastic/dance routine for a talent competition during their school’s home coming. It went over really well and looked very professional and they won first place! They were very proud of themselves. As were I, her mom, and her best friend's parents!
