Monica Hansen was crowned Miss Norway in 1997. She stands six feet one inch tall and comes from the city of Tonsberg. Hansen entered the Miss Norway pageant as a joke but won easily. She did not however go on to compete in the Miss Universe contest as she does like the girls who compete in such contests. Even though she was repeatedly warned by the Miss Universe Organization that she could not drop out, she came down with a bad gall bladder and did not compete.

She then moved to California. In the United States, Hansen has worked as a bikini and lingerie model and has graced the cover of FHM, Maxim, Esquire and many others. Hansen was named Maxim Woman of the Year in 2006.

There is no doubt that Hansen is a beautiful woman with a great body. However, what apparently was not so well known is that her body was shaped and formed by plastic surgeons. At least, that is what Dr. Leonard M. Hochstein wants people to believe. Dr. Hochstein put snapshots of Hansen on his website implying that Hansen's face and body were his work. He did this without her knowledge and permission.

Monica Hansen objected to Dr. Hochstein's use of her image as part of his advertising campaign, apparently because the good doctor never worked on Hansen. Hansen filed a lawsuit in early 2009 for the breach of ethics by the doctor for posting her pictures on his website without her permission.

Hansen won the case and was awarded a default judgment in the amount of $564,555.00. However, because it was a default judgment, nobody knows what really happened. The tabloids and Bill O'Reilly want to know the truth. Did Hansen have plastic surgery but not give the doctor permission to use the photos? Or was she offended at the thought that she had plastic surgery and the doctor implied otherwise?

To be fair, Hansen insists she has never had any work done.  But the doctor tells another story.  Dr. Hochstein claims that he and Hansen dated and have known each other for ten years.  He claims that the two were dating up until the lawsuit was filed and that he, in fact, did the work of the Maxim model.  This begs the question, why didn't he defend the lawsuit?  More to come.
