1. Low Start Up Cost. There is no cost to join an affiliate program. Joining a program is free for the most part there are no application or setup fees. You can get started on the affiliate marketing industry for $100.00 or less, and that cost is most likely for doing research on the products you are going to promote

2. Run It From Anywhere. Since this is an Internet business all you really need is a little know how, a computer and an Internet connection. You can set up your office anywhere, or take it with you when you travel anywhere in the world. You can do business any where in the world that has an Internet access.

3. You Don’t Have To Sell Anything. As an affiliate you are not selling anything, you are promoting your affiliate link, and the merchant’s website is set up to do all the selling.

4. You Don’t Have Any Quotas. It doesn’t matter how many sells you create, you don’t have any quotas and you will be paid only for the commissions that you earn.

5. You Don’t Need A Website. Even though having a website has its advantages, most affiliate programs don’t require you to have a website, the merchants have their own sites and you are promoting them with your affiliate link.

6. You Don’t Have To Deal With Customers. The merchants website is the point of contact with the customer, if there are any questions or discrepancies their customer service reps will take care of any problems.

7. You Don’t Have To Ship Any Product. Shipping and handling is taken care of by the merchant, for the most part you are just notified of that a transaction has taken place and collect the commission checks.

8. You Don’t Need An Inventory. Like I said before your only function is to promote your affiliate link and the merchants website does the rest. I recommend that you purchase and try any product you are going to recommend, it is a good practice and insures your credibility.

9. You Don’t Have To Recruit Anybody. Unlike an MLM business you don’t have to recruit anybody, and your commissions are not dependent on your down-line sales volume.

10. International Business. The Internet is available world wide, and you will find that at times you will be doing business with customer and companies outside your country. This make affiliate marketing a business that is recession proof
