When I was a youth leader 7 years ago and still very single we took the teenage girls from my home church to a purity retreat. During the retreat the girls were encouraged to write a list to God about the things they would want in a husband. So I pulled out my pen and began to write this "Him" list. I then jotted down a note to my husband believing that God would fulfill my request.

I'm not kidding when I say that the list I wrote that day describes the husband gave has given me today!! (Ok minus the dark hair and musically talented part) However, the Lord cares about your deepest desires. He wants to give you the desires of your heart. Take a pen out right now and make your own Him or Her list.

In the waiting, begin to pray and believe for your spouse today! God knows what you need and desire. Trust His perfect time!
