The Home Business and Web 2.0
57Internet Marketing: Do You Believe It?
Many home business owners are finding it increasingly difficult to implement the old model of business building. They have not yet discovered the technology of Building Your Business with Web 2.0. The use of the internet is rapidly growing as a way to market business. No longer do you need to go out and present your business in a one-on-one setting. With the introduction of Web 2.0, it is now possible to set up an online marketing system where people will find YOU, instead of the other way around. Web 2.0 has changed the way we can do business.
But, here is the heart of the issue. Do you believe that? Do you believe there is another way to build your business? Most network marketers and small business owners have only known the old school methods of marketing - including finding your own leads, cold calling and prospecting your friends, neighbors and anyone else coming across your path. I am suggesting that there is another way to build your business. I found a way to generate leads by learning how to offer information and content that others will want to know more about. Is there a catch? Of course there is. You will have to invest the time to put the system in place. On the other hand, this system makes operating a business via the internet available to anyone - no matter what your computer experience.
"My Garden"
Perhaps the following story will make it a little clearer. I wanted to plant a vegetable garden this year. The health benefit of once again having my own garden was enticing. There was a little catch, however. Memories of long, hot hours of weeding surfaced one after another. I wasn’t sure I wanted to get back into that - and with my children grown (many of us have gone down that road!) the bulk of responsibility and weeding would fall on me. Still, I felt the idea was worth pursuing and, after much research, I found a garden plan that promised little or no weeds. Right. It sounded pretty straightforward and simple, but - no big surprise - it took many hours to create and plant it - all with only the say so of the magazine that it would be nearly weed free. Did I believe it?

What would it feel like - to never again have to go out and find business prospects? Would that make a difference in the way you look at your business possibilities? Using the resources available through this very professional training system, you can actually learn how to market a business online and open your opportunity to include an unlimited amount of contacts.
Sometimes Risks Are Worth It
My garden has been growing now for 8 weeks and, with all the rain we’ve had, should be swimming in weeds. Not so. The garden is not only thriving, but I went out to weed yesterday and emerged triumphantly from the garden 5 minutes later - holding one small handful of weeds. Very few things in life come without questions. Some just make sense and are worth your time. Could this be the window of opportunity you have been waiting for? I like the garden analogy. It is hard to get something worthwhile without some work. But with a plan and a system that has been tried before all you have to do is put in the effort for rich rewards.
