The Hub Challenge is Over - What next?
57
Finally the Hub Challenge is over and many hubbers including me emerged as winners. Many of us who have got through the challenge learned a lot from the experience. As for me it confirmed one thing I always knew about myself that if I set my heart on something I would accomplish that. Now that the Hub Challenge is over, what next?
Celebrate: I like celebrating accomplishments. But the difference is for me celebration does not mean Party or Drinks. For me celebration is pampering myself with a huge piece of Chocolate cake which normally I keep away from (for fear of Calories) or pampering myself at a Spa or buying something really nice at an Online Store. I think every one who participated in the challenge should celebrate in whatever way which makes them happy. If you have reached your goal celebrate your accomplishment and if you have not celebrate your learning experience and make a promise to yourself that you would not give up next time.
Maintain the Run Rate: Many of the Hubbers who participated have only been writing an average of 10-20 hubs per month. Personally my average before the challenge was around 12 hubs per month. Now that I know that I am capable of writing 100 hubs per month why not try maintaining the run rate. Well, I would not aim for anything as high as that but I think I would go for a realistic 25 hubs in 30 days which means 300 hubs in a year. Not a bad idea, isn’t it?
Improve and
Promote Hubs: Many of us including me are not full time hubbers. When you have a pace to maintain it is quite
natural that quality suffers to some extent because you may not have got the
time to do a keyword research or put RSS Capsules or have promoted the hub. It
is a good idea to go back to those hubs and improve and promote all your
previous hubs now. By the way here are my hub challenge hubs. I would appreciate your visit.
Get on with Other Assignments: A lot of our other works and assignments have suffered because of the hub challenge. Personally my Blogs and some of my outside work suffered a lot. We all need to get on with our neglected work now.
Finally, let’s take up new Challenges because ‘Where there is no pain there is no gain’.
