The Importance Of Establishing An Internet Presence As An Internet Marketer

You may have heard alot of internet marketing gurus tell you that the most important thing to become a successful internet marketer is to drive massive traffic to your website and you will make crazy money with whatever program you are promoting. Here's a little secret that they don't let you in on! In order for you to be successful when driving all of this traffic to your site you must have an "internet presence" established.

Let's be real here folks. No one is going to opt-in and sign up in a $3500 program with someone who shows no credibility on the internet. So how does a "newbie" internet marketer make any money online then? Well it is simple. You need to create an internet presence so that you can tell someone to Google your name or if you have a common name like I have then create a niche name for yourself and use that. For example my name is John M Foster Jr however I use two names on the internet as skydiverthai and GlobalGifter. If you were to google GlobalGifter right now today as I am writing this article you would see roughly 3,340 results for Google listing. How did I get these rankings? It is more simple than you think.

1.Videos- Posting videos on Youtube by either republishing videos or creating your own in which you can insert your name in the title. For example when I post a video I put GlobalGifter in the title as well. You should publish at the minimum of 3 a day and use Tubemogul to publish them to multiple sites.

2. Write articles. Use Hubpages and Free Press Release to write articles.

This takes time and will not happen overnight but when you are consistent you will be able to tell your prospects to type your name or your niche on google and they will see you know what you are talking about! I have said before and I will say it again that when you start out as an internet marketer do not expect to make any money your first 30 days but educate yourself and establish your internet presence. There are alot of ways to get traffic to your site but unless you can establish your internet presence you will not make any money!! I know this may be a hard hitting fact but it is the TRUTH!
