A small/big car.

In the early 90's, Infiniti wanted to create a car that could compete with the then Lexus ES250, and Acura Integra; the end result was the Infiniti G20.

The G20 offered good looks/great performance at a reasonable price. It was also quite big for being a compact/subcompact sedan. It had great interior room, as well as decent trunk space for a small car.

In 2002, the G20 was put out to pasture, and the G35 replaced it. Now days, you cannot purchase an Infiniti for less than $30,000.  The G20 was an antidote to expensive luxo-sedans type automobiles.

Both Lexus and Infiniti are too expensive for most people to purchase now days.

When the G20 first debut, it was $20,000, and back then this was considered a lot of money for a small car. But Infiniti made promise on building a vehicle which would measure up to the competition, and did/have so far made well built cars.
