The Jonas Brothers popularity: Why?!

REAL music fans everywhere are asking the question: WHY ARE THE JONAS BROTHERS SO POPULAR?
I think there are two simple answers to this question. The first of these is that they have catchy lyrics. I don't personally like their music and I think it's horrible when the cover music that was written by geniuses. I thought it was a disgrace when they messed up singing with Stevie Wonder at the Grammy's and being the hardcore Tom Petty fan I am, when I found out they covered "Free Fallin'" I was outraged. These wannabe musicians are attempting to imitate musical geniuses.
The second answer is that many girls feel they are attractive. I think that their pants are so tight that they kind of look like the fashion trend of tights for girls. I'm also not a huge fan of insane amounts of gel in the hair. But, millions of girls find them oh so attractive and until they grow up and are unattractive, they will be popular.
LET'S HOPE THEY GROW UP UGLY AND GROW UP FAST!

My daughter adored them at one point and it was Jonas Brothers this, Jonas Brothers that....posters of them all over her room. Thank goodness she grew out of them!!!
I've never heard their garbage (but since they're just like all those other teeny bopper trends, I feel safe in assuming it's garbage).
What disturbs me is the ADULTS who find them attractive.

My next door neighbors in my dorm have posters on their wall and on their door and I have to remind them that it is a FELONY for them to ever do anything with two of three of them. For some reason they all find the youngest one attractive and I just think that is gross. Four years age difference isn't much when you get older but when you're 18/19 it is a big difference and just sick.

they have a kick ass marketing team behind them that succeed in convincing easily influenced people that bopping around in skinny jeans is cool. you cannot fight that kind of power.
As official resident teen (ha :p) its this simple. They came from the same place as high school musical. Come on, when you were you you watched the disney films, Aladin, Sleeping Beauty, they're all classics. Who's to say there wasn't some old pensioner (not implying that you're all old pensioners of course) wasn't going 'HOW!?!?! WHY!?!?!' Ok so not being quite as mindless as the JoBro fanclub, I'm not a great fan, but you gotta love the cheese. And they have buckets of it. They're like Busted but with chastity rings, everyone has a favourite. They even covered one of Busted's songs (BLASPHEMY) but they do have some, vague musical talent. I'm questioning whether they can sing, but its not that bad and its not the music that counts, its how tight the jeans are... and skinny jeans were cool wayyyy before them man! :p
I don't get the whole "the band is cute, therefore I like their music" thing. Pisses me off!
