In my hometown, a suburb of Chicago there was once a guy who killed his wife. This happens all the time, husbands kill wives, wives kill husbands, but this murder was strange and I don't think it was provoked.

My dad was a prosecutor for the city of Chicago at the time and he got wind of this story and almost moved us out of my town right away as I was only two years old and my mom was pregnant with my younger brother. We couldn't be living in a place where there was a murder AROUND THE BLOCK FROM MY HOUSE. 

Apparently this man came home with a box of Kentucky Fried Chicken for his wife and instead of the bucket containing chicken, it contained a bomb, which immediately killed her.
