Make the Lemonade Cleanse Weight Loss Diet Works For You

I got interested in the lemonade cleanse (or master cleanse) diet, after witnessing the result Beyonce received from this amazing weight loss and detox recipe. Being a natural weight loss enthusiast, this lead me to further exploration.

This diet is essentially a fast where dieters drink lemonade for a period of time.

But what I found worries me.

Not only it is protein free, there's also no restriction to the number of days dieters should be fasting. It's not addressed in the original master cleanse text by Stanley Burroughs. And that's dangerous.

While some animals can go on protein free diet, we, human are not one of them. In fact, amino acids (which are the building block for protein) can help in your weight loss effort. In truth, a few of these essential amino acids are excellent aids for weight loss. For example, Lysine, Phenylalanine and Tryptophanis. The University of Maryland Medical Center found that Lysine plays a critical role "in the production of carnitine, a nutrient responsible for converting fatty acids into energy".

Also, Phenylalanine and Tryptophanis and good appetite suppressant.

But the lemonade cleanse diet is a fast. Can you consume protein? Can you do so without interfering with the lemonade diet? You can. And I'll share more in the master cleanse course.

Although there are dieters who gone on the master cleanse for up to 40 days. This is highly not recommended. I'll still advise dieters to remain in the lemonade cleanse diet for 10 days or less.

Why?

Because once you have gone fasting for an extended period of time, your body essentially break down your muscles and use them as energy for your body. If you didn't know, just the presence of the muscle helps to burn off more calories without you having to do anything.

When you lose your muscle mass, you end up burning less calories. These "extra" calories are subsequently converted into fats. My advice is to stay in the master cleanse for 10 days maximum if you want to reap the full benefits of the lemonade cleanse diet. That said, if you're not comfortable during your master cleanse regime, you should stop dieting immediately.
