The Start Of Something Good

Craig Sommerfeld created his first tool the "Craig's Jig" back in 1986. Two years later he founded the Kreg Tool Company in Huxley, Iowa and changed the way pocket hole joints were made forever.  For the next twenty years, through many innovations and upgrades, the Kreg Pocket Hole Jig is the tool most used for pocket hole joinery.  . 

Through automation and diversification the Kreg product line grew. In 2005 the third generation jig or the Kreg K3 Jig and the Kreg Jig K3 master System was introduced.
