The Last Jar of Mayo--a Poem

Who's in Trouble Now?

His finger twirled inside the mayonnaise jar

Twisting, scraping the glass for last bits

Dropping it on his tongue, he smacked his lips

Suddenly he thought: The last jar in the pantry!

My wife will be a little antsy!

She likes to keep a well-stocked larder

Will she buy more?

Or take it out in barter?

I like this one. I think he better learn to shop, so she doesn't have to hit the streets, specially if she looks like that--laughing.
