Finding the Best And Latest Cruise Ships In the World

In most cases, when you search for the best floating cruise ships, you start with the latest models. Whether it is a car, mobile phone, laptop, or any form of machinery, going for the latest usually means being able to experience the latest technologies, features, design, or just a new look and feel. If we try to apply this concept to cruise ships, this is roughly the list that we’ll get. All of the ships mentioned below began operation in 2008.

AIDAbella:
AIDAbella is one of 5 ships currently operating under AIDA Cruises. Just like all of the ships in the fleet, it is targeted to the German speaking market. The main feature of the AIDAbella is the large circular glass walled Theatrium located in the center of the ship which sometimes serves as a nightclub.

Carnival Splendor:
The top two highlights of Carnival Splendor are a 21,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art indoor spa and a 5,500 sq. ft. children’s playroom, making it one of the best ships when it comes to children’s or spa facilities.

Eurodam:
MS Eurodam is the largest in the Holland America fleet. Since it has 86% of its cabins on the outside, with 67% of them having balconies, chances of you getting a good view of the ocean here is tops.

Independence of the Seas:
Currently the largest passenger cruise ship in the world, the Independence of the Seas from Royal Caribbean, is a massive 15-deck floating paradise that can accommodate 4,370 passengers.

Fantasia:
Aside from being considered as the largest passenger ship ever constructed for a European owner, the MSC Cruise Lines Fantasia also boasts its built-in ecological technology which is considered as one of the most modern in the world. This makes it one of the most environment friendly vessels to ever sail the open seas.

Poesia:
Also, from the MSC Cruise Lines, perhaps the best aesthetical highlight of this vessel is the way its public spaces have been designed distinctly from one another. When you walk out of one section to the next, you’ll really notice the way the different themes play with your senses.

Solstice:
“Wow”. This is the most prominent reaction of some of the most notable cruise ship critics after setting foot on the Celebrity Solstice during a series of two-night preview cruises. Hence, we need not say more except that, if you want to check out the best, you might as well save this for last.

Ventura:
The Ventura from P&O Cruise Line is one of those rare cruise liners which have been specifically designed to be family and children friendly. Aside from the usual stylish areas, it features large children’s play areas and pools designed for family use and will also be the largest cruise liner ever built.
