The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker Part 15 Greatfish Island and Return to Windfall Island
68
Greatfish Island
When you approach the island of your destination, you will find it completely wrecked. The Rito Postman comes to tell you that Jabun, a wind spirit has fled the island. Apparently, your old pirate friends know something about it, so it is time to go talk to them on Windfall Island. Turn the winds to go northesast, and it won’t take long before you’re there.
Return to Windfall Island
Your boat will want you to maintain a low profile, and you can access the pirate ship if you jump off of a nearby cliff to get to its deck. Unfortunately, if you try to go below decks, someone wants a password.
The pirates are at the bomb shop. What you need to do is go over there and get to the backyard. You will need to Sidle to get there, as it is the same place you found that kid when playing hide and seek. Climb the vines to the roof, and crouch to go in. Listen in, and you’ll get that the password is Chummily. I’m not certain if this password changes with every game you play, but this is where you hear it. I’m guessing the game will not let you pass through the door unless you obtain the password by this method.
Go back to the Pirate ship and give this password, and you will be let in. You will need to go downstairs and navigate through Niko’s test. You need to swing form lantern rope to lantern rope before time runs out. What I did was go, stop, turned right, went to the next one. There are two ropes you can go to after that, and I took the furthest right instead of left. This meant waiting longer so the proper lantern rope could come into range, but it paid off. The ship’s swaying affects the lantern ropes, and they can go at awkward angles sometimes. The last two ropes are for the most part straight, but you will have to alter your direction to get to where you need to go after that.
Now you got bombs. It appears that your necklace starts buzzing, and it appears that someone apparently wanted you to find the bombs. You will need to head toward Outset Island. You will have to redirect the wind not once but twice, and it’s a long journey.
Eventually, you make it, and the boat suggests you to talk to your old friends. Not a bad idea.
For example, you received a letter from Orca. He seems to totally bash on your fighting. If you can beat him 100 times before he beats you three, he will call you a Knight and give you a Purple Rupee. I found it hard at first, but I remember this trick. Get at him, and when he holds his spear back, ready for it by hitting R. Eventually, you will get it. If you show Orca Knights crests, he will demand about 10 more, for some reason.
