The Life I Have

I wrote this like a montha ago and didn't publish it for what ever reason. So here it is, since that time I have quit my job, but only to motivate me to get one closer and with how much time I have been at home. I need to go out there and get something.

So I realized the other day that I am living my life the way I want it. I work where I want, when I want. I go to school where I want. I also live with who I want and where I want. I am living life and it hit me how lucky, or smart I was.

Sure I go to work, but on my terms I decided what to wear and for the most part what to do; I am in control. I go in when I want if I need more money I work more it I need to take of some time for personal reasons I can, its very flexible. I am very lucky to work a job like that.

I am also in school now there are requirements as far as what class goes into what degree, but it’s what I want. I may be told to write this or read this, but you do it for the grade not because you are suppose to. Not one there tells me I am wrong expect the professors and they know they are the experts.

I also live with two really awesome people. I don’t live too far from my friends and yet still close enough to school that I can drive or ride a bike, hell I can take the bus if I must. I wake up when I want eat what I want and no one complains.

Now I know most people will think that being singe is no fun, but I beg to differ. I have a lot of close friends, some are cuddle friends, other are friends with benefits, and others are your average friends. With all of them I don’t really feel the loss of someone close. In fact I would find it hard to have a girlfriend, you know someone who wants to change your schedule, friends, and clothes.

No, I am much happier without a girlfriend so much so that I almost left this part out, but then that would leave you begging the question about love. I think that you should be you regardless of who you are with and if you can’t be you might want to rethink that.

Now that you can see how I am living my life the way I want I challenge anyone to evaluate your life and tell the truth, “Are you living the life you want?” If not think of why you are not and how you can start changing that, and if you really want it the only thing that’s holding you back is you.

Are You Happy With Your Life?

Interesting. I like this. It's unfiltered truth.
