"The Master's Touch" presents the sponsored by Manila Chamber Singers and 98.7 DZFE. The Festival, which aims to showcase Filipino choral artistry and excellence, will feature the following choirs, all of which have won in various choral competitions and whose performances abroad have garnered critical acclaim, as follows:


1. Kilyawan Boys Choir

World Choir Games Champion in the Popular Music Category at the 2008 World Choir Games held in Graz, Austria early this month

Hail Mary the Queen Children's Choir

Winner of the Olympic Gold Medal in the Music of the Religions Category at the 2004 Choir Olympics in Bremen, Germany

U.P. Manila Chorale

Winner in the Bad Ischl International Competition in 2005 and at the 2007 Anton Bruckner International Choir Competition, both held in Austria

Manila Chamber Singers

Winner at the 2006 China International Chorus Festival in Beijing and at the 2007 International Choir Competition in Bad Ischl, Salzkammergut, Austria, and the presenter of the MANILA CHORAL FESTIVA

St. Louis University Glee Club

This choir from Baguio City is the national champion of the College Choir Category of the NAMCYA

U.P. Concert Chorus

One of the Philippines' foremost choral groups and a winner at the 2008 Montreux International Choral Competition in Switzerl

The Philippine Madrigal Singers

Asia's most—awarded and a choral gem of the Philippines, having the distinction of being the first choir to win the European Grand Prix of Choral Singing twice (1997 and 2007)

Invitation

Come and watch as the country's finest ensembles perform on one stage on August 23, 2008, 7PM at the Philamlife Auditorium, U.N. Avenue, Manila.
