Beneath the lines lurks death.

Poles spike country skies,

cut swathes through grassy lands;

where wires stretch out in long straight lines.

No deviation, mixed media messages telegraphed.

Materialism, capitalism,

mans' basic needs still seeded in the soil.

Electrically charged switched on to death.

Causal carriers of carrion trace the hills,

road lengths, mountainous terrains.

Sky walking wires relentlessly push on,

past farmhouses, villages and towns.

From barren wastes to fertile grounds.
