The Missing Part

Gen 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

After God removed one of Adam's ribs, Adam was no longer whole. He now has a missing part. God took the rib and made Eve from it (Gen 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. ) Adam even said of Eve, this is bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh. Eve was Adam's missing part.

Gen 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

After Adam and Eve at the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, a part of them was missing. They were no longer as they were created, but had become knowledgeable of sin. They went so far as to hide themselves from God in an attempt to hide their shame and guilt. What was their missing part after eating the fruit? Their missing part was their relationship with God had changed. It was no longer the same because of their disobedience. They were different even though God remained the same. Death had made it into their lives and they in fact did die spiritually when they ate the fruit.

God always wanted a right relationship with His creation. Although God knew it would happen and even made a way to make things right for man, it still grieved Him in His heart that Adam ate the fruit.

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus is the way to get back to a right relationship with God and get back the part that we are missing. This is the Way that God ordained and made from the beginning, and he will not change and make another way. Jesus Christ is our missing part today. We shun Him, step on Him, kick Him, spit on Him, pull His beard out and crucify Him but He is the one part that we need more than any other part that we have. Even as we do these things to Him, He still loves us.

1Jo 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

By the same token, we are God's missing part. He gave His best for us, that we may live and be with Him for eternity. There isn't a man, woman or child that God doesn't love and wants to save. Jesus ascended on a cloud to gloryland saying He goes to prepare a place for us so that where He is we will be also. He waits for us to come to Him, because we are his missing part. The glorious church, the bride of Christ is what is lacking in heaven.

Can't you see what is being shown? Can you hear what is being said? The King of Glory Himself wants to save your soul. You are His missing part and He wants you to come to Him. Won't you come and give your life and heart to Jesus? He waits and is longsuffering, but eventually time will run out. There is no promise of tomorrow. Many have died very young and will never have the chance again to give themselves to Him.

The time of Salvation is now. The opportunity is before you and it may be your last. I have no idea who this is actually for, but I write it for whosoever will, let him come and drink of the water of life freely. It costs you not one penny, but cost God everything. The debt is paid on your behalf. Many of us would love it if someone paid off our car or mortgage payment. Jesus paid so much more than that.

Prayer

Father God, I wrote what you asked me to write. It is now in your hands. I give them to you,Father, those who read this. I pray that they accept your Word and come to you repenting and believing. In Jesus mighty name, AMEN!!!
