When it comes to planning an unusual or unique bathroom, there are many products to choose from. As you are well aware, there is a wide variety of fixtures to choose. With the advancement of the World Wide Web, some of these most unusual pieces are just a click away. Nevertheless, when selecting bathroom fixtures you’ll be forced to pay a pretty penny for it.

Something to remember when purchasing bathroom fixtures is that the price paid, usually accurately depicts the level of quality of that said product. Many people do not realize that companies such as Kohler, Moen, and Delta design low-end product to be sold in big box retail outlets such as Home Depot and Lowes. The product found at these retail outlets may look the same as the product found on their website or catalog, but made with substandard material, quality, and care. That is how they are able to compete in a “contractor” price atmosphere. With that said, it is safe to bank your buck on the fact that you are paying for what you get. So when selecting bathroom fixtures the best advice to live by is to buy bathroom fixtures from local specialty outlets or direct from the manufacturer’s showroom.

I know, aren't they crazy? They are real pictures of men's bathrooms on the web. The bath tub was featured at the 2009 National Kitchen and Bath show.
