Our Duty To Go green

It has come to the point that ourplanet is in danger because of our carelessness and now it is time to take a stand and do our part to try to undo the damage we have done in the past and continue to do today.

Will there even be a future for our family and friends if we do not try to save electricity, water, and other important natural resources. We have become dependent on them and we also take advantage of them and waste a lot of it. Our kids and grandkids will not have a healthy, happy life if we do not change some of our habits today. We not only have to change but we also have to teach them so they will know what to do in the future.

There are many ways we can begin to improve the future. We can take measures to make sure our air and water are not polluted any more, We can save electricity and gas by turning out lights when not in use, turning off other appliances or electronics when not in use, unplug kitchen appliances that are not being used. This includes things like toasters, blenders, coffeepots, etc.. Regular light bulbs can be replaced with small fluoresscent light bulbs. They will use much less electricity and still give you the same bright light needed. Another important way to save on electric is to make sure your home is well insulated and you have thermopane windows installed. Close the gaps that cause drafts in your home and you will save on heating and cooling expenses.

Recycling is yet another way to go green. There are refuge areas that are being filled up fast with things that can be recycled. With a little effort we all can help reduce the waste. "Go Green" by buying all natural products such as soaps, cleaners, etc., that contain nothing but all natural ingredients. The idea is to stop the dangerous toxins and chemicals that are thrown and washed into our earth and streams. We are all responsible for it and we are also all guilty if we do not do our part to stop it. Do your part and "Go Green" today!!
