What is a Giveaway Event?

A Giveaway event is when a website owner gives away sometimes hundreds of Free gifts.

The website owner will ask other website owners to contribute free products that they have created or have the leagal rights to giveaway a product.

If I was going to give a gift to the niche giveaway site I would be called a contributor, the person giving or contributing a free gift.

If your just a visitor you will be a free member, usually you enter your name and email and this lets you into the free members area to download your free gifts.

Why do they set up these giveaway events?

The contributors give away free products because they want to expose there business or website. Normally, each contributor will have a form that you fill out like name and email to get your gift.

Advantages

• just give your name and email off an email account you use just for these type of offers and never use your personal email for family and friends.
• You will get all kinds of ebooks, software, audios, videos and grapics
• Some of these products actually sell on the contributors website for $47 and you get it for free
• You can pick and choose what you want or be greedy and get them all for free

Disadvantages

• You have to give a name and email to receive the free product and normally have to double optin
• Double optin means you fill your name and email, then you need to check your email filters and get the 2nd email that says, click here to confirm.
• You have to do this for each product you want which takes time

In summary, I love these giveway events both as a contributor and member because I get so many free products that I actually use. The video tutorials are the best and so is the software.
