Traveling the Night Sky

By love my yorkies

As I look out

into the night

and see the stars

that shine so bright

Planets, galaxys and

other universes too

What would you think

if your dream did come true

How far or near

measured in light years

would it take us

to get there

and can I

bring my stuffed bear

Will they suspend us

in sleep

into my dreams

what might creep

will we age as we travel

or age in reverse

either I think

would be quite perverse

As we chart our course

on this galactic highway

will there be others

traveling our way

or will they be headed

in the opposite direction

checking us out

for their own protection

For do you really believe

we are here all alone

on this one little planet

we humans call home

I, for one, wish to explore

for I think there is so much more

than just what we see

in the diamond bright light

when we look up in the sky

and out into the night.

Beautiful. The stars, they are enchanting. Until you get your first bout of zero-g sickness. Siiigh, the gyros had to fail on the longest leg of my trip!

Enchanting and mesmerizing they are. tsk, tsk, zero-g sickness is nothing. A little red wine and some chocolate will fix that right up. Don't ya know chocolate is a cure all for everything!!!! Well, ya know, if you had some of those durcell batteries you wouldn't have that problem!! teeheeheee
