The Nobel peace prize was one of the five Nobel Prizes bequeathed by the Swedish

Industrialist and inventor Alfred Nobel.

The Nobel Peace Prize should be awarded to the person who shall have done the most ;

Or best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies

for the holding and promoting peace of congress.

Alfred Noble died in 1986 without leaving an explanation for choosing

peace as a category.

President Obama wins the Nobel Peace prize for 2009.

President Obama has only been in office for nine months,

but he is a winner for the following reasons ;

Extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation

between people , including efforts to reinvigorate the Israeli- Palestine peace talks.

Talks with the UN Security Council to boost nuclear disarmament and an open-

broadcast opinion that the future of the world should be , Nuclear weapons free.

He is also credited with creating a new climate in international politics.

The next piece of information is not apart of The Nobel Peace Prize format.

President Obama recently sent two of his cabinet members to Chicago to address

the growing problems in Chicago High Schools .

The killings of so many high school students in his hometown of Chicago.

Archbishop Desmond Tu TU from South Africa received a Nobel Peace Prize in 1984.

Nelson Mandela of South Africa also received a Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 for laying

the foundations for a new democratic "South Africa "

Their are millions of families without health insurance this Christmas.
