The Diet Pill Trend in 2010
56Popular Weight Loss Products
Weight loss is a multi-million dollar industry, and with pressure from
media along with growing waistlines across the globe, weight loss
products make their own aisle in the supermarket. Some are more popular
than others, and come in a multitude of forms.
Green tea has been widely touted as a weight loss supplement, and comes
in both liquid and pill form. Green tea pills can be found in
combination with appetite suppresants, or energy boosters to help
metabolism, or by themselves as part of a regular diet. While it's not
a miracle drug, it is all-natural by itself. The all-natural kick also
includes apple cider vinegar, as well. Taken in pill or liquid form,
it's noted as being an appetite suppresant, and is something you might
already have in your cabinet. Suppresants are a very popular way for
people to try and lose weight.
Shakes and powders are also gaining popularity, too. SlimFast has its
own franchise with shakes, meal powders, meal replacements bars, and
waters, as does Special K, who claim you can lose up to six pounds in
two weeks if you follow their meal plan. Claims for quick weight loss
really get people going, as we're a nation that is constantly looking
for a quick fix to our problems. For those that are extreme in their
goal, there are even the popular 48-hour or 72-hour liquid diet plans.
Their special formula helps you lose weight very quickly by drinking
nothing but their product for the time indicated.
Celebrity-endorsed products are extremely popular right now, as well,
capitalizing on media fame with shows like the Biggest Loser, and
Celebrity Fit Club. Eating plans, pills and vitamins are becoming all
the rage as people envision themselves looking like their favorite
celebrity. If they can do it, so can you!

Good Healthy Eating Tips
Eating healthy doesn't have to be difficult or expensive. Healthy
eating is an easy habit to establish. First you must acknowledge the
unhealthy eating habits you have and target the foods you eat that are
the least healthy.
A lot of unhealthy eating habits center around snacks. Most likely it's
not the habit of snacking that you need to break. What you need to
change is the habit of reaching for unhealthy food to eat as a snack.
You may have to change your shopping habits so that you choose healthy
snack items instead of unhealthy snack food options. When reaching for
a snack out of the refrigerator most of us choose whatever is easiest
to reach. Therefore, you should keep healthy snacks up front and center
in the refrigerator. Baby carrots, broccoli, celery, and sweet pepper
strips are great to munch on by themselves or dipped into your favorite
dip. Yogurt is a healthy snack option as is any type of fruit. Be sure
to try new fruits and vegetables to keep your healthy snacks
interesting. Keep a jar of granola mix on your kitchen counter to reach
for when you're hungry.
If you are not eating crackers and bread made with whole wheat or grain
you should begin doing so. This is a good habit to establish. Be
careful in your selection of breakfast bars and granola bars. Don't
assume that all of them are actually healthy snacks. Read the labels.
Always eat breakfast. You have quick choices such as fruit, whole wheat
toast, or yogurt that you can grab if you must eat breakfast in a
hurry. Choose a healthy salad for lunch. Eat a light dinner and try not
to eat late. Make every snack a healthy snack.
