The Psychology of Health
53There is no magic to physical health. The real problem, I think, is the absence of self love, some sort of existential curiosity; and the inner quest for balance. Society does play a part. But you are not society: you are an isolated entity interacting with society.
The point is that the human sensory system gives us warning signs about balance. To the extent that we have a prior frame of reference, the natural impulse is to return to it as would a rubber band returning to its elastic center from whence it projects outward on command or pull. This analogy sounds simplistic, but clear thinkers know exactly what I am talking about.America is one of the least JOY oriented environments I know on the planet. Real joy, pure organic joy. In its purest form, this joy is a vital pulse that connects you to earth, imparts to you a sense of inner melody, rhythm, sensuality and muscularity which equals HARMONY.All you have to do, then, is simply live in repetition of this harmony. It's ultimately experienced as being alive. Very simple and devoid of complicacy. If, unfortunately, this system of organic feeling did not exist at the incipient stages of a child's development and eventual propagation into adulthood, life is physically complicated. This frame of reference would have to be conceptually explored and mastered in hopes of gaining balance.Having said all of that, I recognize how severe some readers would take this. But that does not matter. The truth is no respecter of persons. It hurts to learn the truth so late. The reason that a lot of people lose weight and gain it back, and so on...is simply because they have no systemic reference framework. Wild animals do. They could not survive in the wild without itIf any reader has studied classical ballet, then you get the point. Ballet is a classical form. There is no negotiation with the five positions. You are either in classical first position, or you are not. When you move away from it, the laws of the form will bring you back. That's reference.
Food is designed to impart sustenance. Not to be abused. If the fat person has prior health issues, that's a distinct matter, and lies outside this conversation. Reference is like truth.IT SHALL SET YOU FREE. Eat to live, don't live to eat...Godfrey SilasTrainer/ChoreographerPrintShare it! — Rate it: up down flag this hub
