Dalaran is a great city.

The city is in the sky, on Northrend and is a neutral city where Horde and Alliance Players are side by side.

It is a sanctuary, which means that PvP is not authorized there.

One of the nice things about Dalaran is its portals to the different major cities of your faction and to Shattrath (in Outland).

That makes the moving around very easy.

If your hearthstone is to Dalaran, then you can go from one major city to another in a giffy.

It is correct: You can do that (or almost the same) from Shattrath.

But to get to Shattrath, you have to come to Outland - and to pass the portal, you have to be level 58 at least.

Dalaran, you can go there for free and from Dalaran, you can teleport yourself to Shattrath without problems.

Of course, you can pay a mage to make a portal to you. But the prices can be real high on some servers (10 gold, or more, for a portal is very common).

And even though I think people shall have money for their work, I think this is rip off and I don't want to pay this sum for that.

Now... There is a way to get to Dalaran for free with a low level. On the picture, you can see my level 1 paladin in front of the portals in the Silver Enclave.

And with my guild on Blade's Edge, we have taken "The Road to Dalaran" together, so our low level guildies also could go there.

It is a bit long to explain in a hub, especially because it involves movies, pictures, etc, so I have made two PDF documents with the Road to Dalaran (11 pages each).

One for the Horde and one for the Alliance.
