My Missed Opportunity with Network Marketing or Multi-level Marketing

About 35 years ago, an acquaintance stopped my home and tried to interest me in selling a very simple product. It consisted of four plastic bottles of face creams, scrubs and treatments. She thought that I would be ideal as I have always had and still do have "good skin". I thought it over and came to the conclusion that I couldn't honestly promote the product by telling people that using the product was in any way responsible for the condition of my skin. Have you guessed what the product was? The answer, Mary Kay Cosmetics.

That company grew and is still prospering due to power of network marketing. With SFI you have the whole world as your market, not just your local community and circle of friends.

Many network marketing companies on the web have only one or two products to market. Often you will find yourself marketing ebooks or services just to other marketers. We live in a fairly remote area and when we are home, I find it much easier to do much of my shopping online. If there were a reasonable service available to deliver some grocery items, I would use it. I am dating myself, but I remember when we could phone the market, place an order for groceries and have them delivered or ready to pick up. When we do travel to a city, we usually have doctor appointments or other tasks so are unable to spend hours shopping. About eight years ago I heard a futurist predict that many representatives, agents and retail sales people would be displaced by online shopping. Even if I eventually buy an item in a bricks and mortar store, I have usually checked the item out thoroughly online. Online shopping is here to stay as long as we have the Internet.
